Drugs cop Rhino, who knows everyone on his patch in Merthyr Tydfil, is dealing with a big case. When three lads rob a post office in a quiet village 15 miles away, it is down to him to identify the culprits using his local knowledge. On the Gurnos Estate, response officer Louise is given the run-around by a 24-year-old who has been arrested almost 50 times and is not being entirely straight with his story.

Paul Evans This is such an entertaining show, if its characters you want, then look no further then Valley Cops, showcasing crimes in the Rhondda Valley, Merthyr and Maesteg. It shows what the cops have to contend with, abuse, violence etc, and it also showcases just how tough life is for some of the locals. I have good friends from the area who say some elements have been somewhat sensationalised for the camera, not sure. Anyhows, it showcases just how wonderful a mix of people live in the Welsh valleys, wonderful people, wonderful entertainment.
