UTOPIA. Thrilling. Suspenseful. Unsettling. Tense.Probably the best show ever made (and I've watched lots of great tv shows such as Sopranos, Breaking Bad, The Wire etc.) Not only is it stunning visually, but thought provoking too. It's extremely dark, violent, but has some comedic moments as well. The sountrack is so weird yet amazing and fits perfectly with the show. It's been over a year since I've watched Utopia but there's not a day that goes by when I don't think about it. It hurts me knowing that people have not experienced this masterpiece. The show lasted only 2 seasons after being cancelled and although it ended on a cliffhanger, most of the show's story and character arcs were wrapped up which is fine. With only 6 episodes in each season, there's no filler and the plot always keeps moving forward. If I could recommend one show, it would be UTOPIA.

Utopia.Petopia is probably one of the most realistic and truthful series that we can ever hope to watch I believe in it 100 and 50% it is something that we cannot even fathom 30 years ago there was only 3 billion people on the planet we're at 8 billion now what does that say about the population growth. One thing I know for certain I know this to be a fact that if 3 billion people can turn into 8 billion what can a trillion turn into if 3 billion turned into eight billion in less than 30 years there what is 8 billion now climbing to 9 billion going to turn into in the next 10 years. We have to take everything in this series 2 account it is probably the most truthful actual if that's even a word series of our time and that's probably why it was cancel. Think about it everything that they're saying in the show we only got two seasons of it but it was enough to make us all open her eyes and realize what we've done if you want to call this a global Earth that's fine I believed in Globe Earth for my whole life but if you want to believe we live on a plane that's also fine you can look these things up on YouTube and find out exactly what I'm saying the point being is that this plain or ball that we live on cannot sting population growth that we are producing. It is definitely the most detrimental thing we've done in our history in this series you will find out the most incredible things that no one thinks about on day-to-day life. I hope everyone gives this attend and maybe a creator if his life isn't in Jeopardy already will make more episodes to show us what we are actually doing to this planet or plane.

This is my first review on this site; I have many, many TV series but I have to admit, this one is seriously one of the best. I am such a fan of British TV shows! The story revolved around a number of strangers, meeting online on a forum, discussing about conspiracies and a comic book they all know about. Soon after, things starts to get dirty... well, you gotta watch it to know more! This show, in specific, has made me question if all the viruses are man made. I watched this show in a week and I question everyone as to what they think about the idea of killing people by viruses. Also, I totally loved Alexandra Roach and Paul Higgins' accent. I always smiled when they were on screen. Adeel and Neil were fantastic! Overall, a great piece of director and cinematography. I hope to watch something as good soon!

Trite Malthusian BS propaganda. It is incredible how what is, in reality, an empirically discredited and morally odious pseudo-scientific philosophy is presented as some kind of "profound question" facing humanity. While, to be fair, it is the bad guys who are carrying on the malthusian agenda, the very thought that their arguments are considered valid enough to be "controversial" and considered seriously by the protagonists makes my skin crawl with revulsion. Also, the originator of this "brilliant concept" is presented as a genius, someone who can see what we others are incapable of.. which leads more credence to the idea which, when you look at it more closely, is utterly and totally discredited both by historical precedent and pure basic logic. In other words, it is something stupid, given credence by being presented by someone labeled "genius." It is not profound, it is simply stupid.Malthus was wrong in 18th century and modern malthusians are wrong now. It is nothing more than appalling misantrophy with genocidal overtones masking itself as some kind of altruistic cause. Hitler was also doing it for the "good" of the race, you know. And there is absolutely nothing to justify either philosophy - they are both equally morally repugnant and, even maybe even more important, logically suspect and scientifically dubious to say the least. I won't go into lengthy refutations of malthusianism because there's plenty of them around, from both philosophical and empirical standpoinds (according to good ole malthus, we're all supposed to be dead by now and for a long time at that).Otherwise the series is well done, but the seeming fetish on torture (seemingly the only answer to pretty much any conflict) and the trite premise trying to pass for profundity mar it irrevocably.
