yorktran Unlike other shows, Tron Uprising shows potential to do more with animation, effects, and voice casting for the series. Hopefully, this first season is not the last as they showed insight for an audience of adolescence to adult. However, Disney did little to advertise for this show and that may be a reason why popularity seems to not be as much as they hoped for. Yet, in all honesty it is one of the best shows I've seen that is simple and mature that goes off "the grid" in choreographed scenes and plots. In addition, the animators and animation was what made the series unique and special. With more word getting out about this series through the internet and hopefully advertising... the popularity and interest in this will grow.
kmbdesign In the same vein as perhaps the Animatrix was to the Matrix, this preceding story to the Legacy movie fills the viewer with stunning visuals, terrific soundtrack and helps lay in some interesting pieces to the puzzle. If you are not so keen on watching because you're older and not into an animated series, don't be! Just think of it as a continuation of the storyline in an Aeon Flux stylized CG form, and it does so with some REAL STAR POWER! I must say if you liked Legacy the storyline in this is, in my opinion, better! I really do hope to see more of this awesome Disney creation because the writing and production are great. Give it a shot, and btw I'm 36 and don't live at moms house if you catch my drift.;)
stoler42 Dear Disney, Tron Uprising has surpassed both movies which I truly loved, the show is just not being managed correctly. I have never watched the show live on Sunday at 12:00 midnight. I always watch the show on demand. It doesn't get a lot of play time I noticed and that needs to be fixed. You have a massive hit on your hands and your putting it on the highest shelf possible where only a few can reach it or even see it. If Star Wars the Clone Wars on Cartoon Network aired at the same time as Tron Uprising, it probably wouldn't be nearly as popular as it is today and It's not even that great of a show! Tron runs light cycles around Star Wars! Please Please, bring the show back and please when the third Tron Movie comes out, cast Elijah Wood as Beck, he's perfect for that role!
trobison749 This is an amazing show, in fact it seems like each episode outdoes the last in terms of dramatic tension, character development, action and just the sheer beauty of the show (and once you get used to the unusual character designs man is it good looking. Also unsurprisingly considering the outstanding cast the voice acting is beyond good too, all in all my only complaint about this show is that there is so much going on and so many plots that have be intrigued I don't see how they'll be resolved in just the couple of episodes left in season 1 (at this point season 2 hasn't been confirmed). Also you have to love this show just for the fact that Disney has done their best to push this into the deepest, darkest corner possible to kill it off (its on at 12am on a Monday... is there a worse possible timeslot they had open?)and it just gets better and better. So yea, I'm telling you this show is the Rudy of animation right now.
