Emma Bickerdyke From the very first episode I watched I was hooked, I don't speak fluent Spanish, and I watched a few of the episodes with subtitles and found that it is so well acted emotionally and expressively that I didn't need the subtitles to understand what was going on, the music in the show is very beautifully done and the acting is exceptional, that I even watched the episodes that didn't have subtitles and still managed to understand what was happening. The show depicts issues that haven't really been raised before in shows of the time period and manages to handle the story lines beautifully. The characters are portrayed in a way that even today we can still relate to what they are feeling and the troubles they go through. I recommend this show to anyone who loves period drama's as this is one of the best.
