Sarah12491 i can remember back when O-Town came out and every time a song would come on the radio by them i'd switch it off. i thought they were terrible. the other day i saw Ashley's video "Let You Go" and i was like "hey he's really good" i decided to look him up on the internet and i was totally shocked when i found out that he was a member of that group that i absolutely hated. he's really proved himself as a serious artist. what a complete change from girlie boy band stupidity to awesome rocker. i think he's great and i can't wait for his album. he's definitely not bad looking either with his long blonde hair. i love his lyrics too.
ejcbtheshamrock4 As a 40 year old Mom with teen-aged boys, I'm not really into "pop music" but what I am into is seeing someone work hard to support themselves and their family. Therefore, I am rooting wholeheartedly for Ashley Parker Angel. He is a great example of what can come from hard work and dedication and I applaud him for striving to find his own voice in the aftermath of a "boy band" stigma. His new music sounds terrific and the fact that much of his CD is written by him shows even more of his character. I found I had a real love-hate relationship with this show; I love that he is so dedicated to his music and his family. His easy-going nature was simply endearing. Tiffany, however, could have been less self-centered at times and more supportive--she didn't come across real well but I am willing to give her the benefit of the doubt and chalk it up to editing in hopes that she was much less shallow off screen than she was on. That being said, he has a great support system around him from Tiffany's Mom (who is nothing short of amazingly supportive and was doing much of what Tiffany should have been doing--again could have just been edited that way), his manager, record company and former band mate. If you have a chance to catch this show in re-runs...do yourself a favor and watch. This is a young man fighting against not only stereotype, but also being a young father (without having the advantages of one himself) and trying to make life better for himself and everyone around him. I am happily going to be buying his CD and wish him all the best in all things. Ashley is an example of responsibility and fortitude. Well done.
WhiteTigerPat13 I glad he is showing the other side of the music business! It's what really happens and it is so hard to show that on TV and talk about it! Also remember he is now employed by MTV now and probably going to make some real money now! He has come sooo far from O-Town. Now i'm one of those people that really loved Making the Band and just loved O-Town. I loved the sound and pretty cool at the time. We all grow and now that Ashley and Tiffaney are having a baby boy it's sooo cool that they are showing that on MTV> A great show and produced very nice! Nice and honest show! Pretty cool in my book! Out of 10 it a solid 9 1/2! That cool ladies & Gents! So check it out!
danielle archer Ever heard of the band O-town. Yes now we are remembering them. They had it all about 3 years ago but where are they now? And what happened to the blonde boy? What was his name? Oh yes Ashley Parker Angel! This show focuses on Ashley Parker Angel. Former boy band star. Now he lost all of it. Fame and Money. Him and his girlfriend Tiffany are living in an apartment with Tiffany's mother. Tiffany is also pregnant. Ashley has a record deal but the record company he is working with controls all of the money. So Ashley is trying to get back into the music business. This show is different because it doesn't focus on people with wonderful lives and lots of money like MTV's Laguna Beach. It shows how people are actually living. It shows how Ashley hardly has any money and wants to get back on top. I never really liked O-town or boy bands but this show is very good and very interesting. So if you are a former O-town fan or getting tired of Laguna Beach's fakeness I definitely suggest watching this show one day. Even if you are just bored one day you should watch it. It is a very good show.
