Synopsis

Fed up with the Magical Realm's obsession with large-scale fantasy warfare, Jack the Wizard decides to migrate to the sanest place he can think of: Melbourne's Western suburbs. After accidentally causing Flinders Street Station to turn ever so slightly into a giant Fish monster, his existence (and that of his fellow magical immigrants) is revealed to the Australian public. Fearing a backlash against himself and his kind, Jack swears off using magic in a bid to better assimilate into human life. But of course, fitting in was never going to be easy when people tend to get a bit 'explode-y' whenever you sneeze...

tutonga The mixture of this comedy is high fantasy that you'd expect with all the tropes blended with a bit of realism in a modern day world. The special effects are just fitting to the show and give the story a bit of spice not covering it up. The characters are all well done, some done so good you'll be screaming "Boki'-Boki'!" like a true fan in two episodes.Perhaps..or perhaps not. But you can enjoy the show with a moderate boki'. Boki' isn't in the show but its an Aussie term for like...excitement and/or puncuation. This show is might right boki'boki! The show costumes are well done and the settings are also well placed. Given time this could be a regular hit and i do hope to sere many more seasons to come,Boki!Strap on your laughing girdle +5 and prepare for a silly boot to the head. It is a comedy with magic and aussies. What could go wrong?! Boki- boki~
mmvdh90 After just seeing the first episode, I can say that this show is brilliant at handling comedy and fantasy. As a wizard who wants to escape from all the magic, the poor lad is being followed by the stereotypical image of a wizard and a whole lot of magic and real life trouble. The show gives you what you expect, a new and fresh look on magic and fantasy. Very well made, especially for a small production company.10 out of 10 for originality! Also the snarky comments from the main character and his dialogue with his evil wizard neighbor make the show even more fun! And even though this is a fantasy series, you can find a lot of situations that you might be familiar to, such as filling in some papers. Of course everything becomes even more fun with magic!
