The tick's outfit.
In the pilot it looks good. In every following episode, there is an additional layer of some cardboard-ish looking fake material over his chest and abs. LOOKS TERRIBLE AND OBVIOUSLY FAKE.
In the PILOT, his outfit does NOT feature this cardboard 'boob job'
Please remove this from the outfit, it looks terribly fake and obvious, and is distracting from the character. His outfit in the pilot was more form fitting and realistic to his build. Plus it makes his 'suit' look like an extension of himself where the 'cardboard boob job' makes him look like he's wearing a rubber suit, made of cardboard--which he never takes off anyway.

I hadn't heard of The Tick before, so I watched the show with - so to say - fresh eyes and I was thrilled.
What makes this show so fun and sets its apart from other show on TV right now is the way it parodies the superhero genre and plays with the viewer's expectations: The Tick has no origin story like we are used to in mainstream comic adaptations - instead he has no idea where he comes from; one of the villains "lair" is her house that she still shares with her ex; the sidekicks heroic rescue of a "baby" is not an actual baby but a dog....on so an.
At the same time the show manages to tell an engaging story that centers not just around the side of the heroes, but also the villains (and antiheroes).
The actors do all a great job, and especially Yara Martinz as Ms. Lint stands out as she steals very scene she is in.

I saw the pilot. It didn't work, then I watched the series based on some recommendations. The first episode borrowed form the Pilot, but it was much improved. Much sharper and faster paced. The Pilot - (now Episode 0), 4 out of 10. The series, so far (I'm 4 episodes in), 8 out of 10. It's worth giving a try for any tick fan. More lively than the Warburton version and much better villains. Worth a look.

...and while I can't say better than ever, this is a worthy production. Not quite the fun, campy romp that the original(live) series was but still a solid entry. This still fun and amusing venture brings life back to the Tick and Arthur though with a bit darker of a theme...still not dark mind you, but a touch more realism that the original. Can't honestly say whether this is a good thing or not yet but so far it hasn't hurt it yet.Acting is well done and especially enjoyed Martinez and Haley as Ms Lint and the Terror.Great pacing(though with 20-30 min episodes it would have been tough to make it drag).Modern CGI work well for the show.More plot than the original and much better story.Only semi-negative is that the cast isn't necessarily completely meshing for me yet, but still early in the series.Overall, great for a quick, fun binge.
