sporty-gal-2007 I must start by saying I never knew this show or her even existed until a few months ago as I was going through the channels on the TV and just happened to stumble across it on a late Saturday evening here where I live and have been hooked ever since. I now watch this every Saturday evening. Suze's show really makes you stop and think where you are financially at your age and gives really sound, great advice on what to do if you're not doing so well or if you are doing pretty good to continue or even do better. I've learned more about savings/credit/and retirement just by watching one episode of her show than I've learned anywhere else. Just a real eye opener of a show to get on track with our finances. So, as my title says... If you want to get serious about your finances, get out of debt and have some for real savings, well this is definitely the show for you. I rate this a 10 out of 10 without even having to think about it. I just think she is wonderful when it comes to this and even plan on purchasing one of her books!
Syl Okay, I'm the last person to discuss finances but Suze Orman whose college degree was in social work and not in finance goes to show that she is trying to make the world a better place by spitting out wisdom and advice in her books, radio, and television shows along with lectures, speeches, and guest appearances on talk show. Suze Orman wants you to show her the money before you go out and spend yourself further into debt. Her advice is solid but goes to waste when people don't know how to save for emergencies. For example, a mother wants to send her son to Spain on a class trip but she's deep in debt. The mother is considering taking a loan but it's ridiculous because it will further deepen your loans. Suze's smart, brassy, has great white teeth, and could sell toothpaste. She knows about money and how to make it from her personal experiences long before she was a financial adviser. Before you go out and spend on some silly purchases, take the time to think if you need it rather than want it or will it sink you further in debt.
succotash Suze Orman, financial maven extraordinnaire, has authored several books and starred in several PBS specials concerning individual financial planning and money management issues. In this, her weekly show (Saturday nights on CNBC), she dispenses sound advice and instruction to live callers and emailers asking about their own financial situations. Also included is a segment called Suze Cam in which a live camera crew goes to various locations (malls, shopping centers, etc.) to take additional live questions from passers-by. Suze's vivacious personality, charm, and wit combined with her compassionate (albeit direct), people-loving nature and her more than three decades worth of experience as a highly successful financial planner make this a show truly worth watching. Pop some popcorn and get out a pen and notebook because you will want to take notes. For a Saturday night, this beats the mainstream network CRAP hands down! Suze...Lovebug...in the event you're reading this...you go, girl!
