This show has a great cast and storylines. When they first made someone an out and out murderer, I was afraid they had gone too far, and in the first season. However, there was a recent case in Florida of a doctor doing exactly what this "doctor' did, and this must be pretty much how they got away with it for years. If you plan on ever being sick, you need to watch this. The only new scripted show I can stand. I love it. And it just got even better.

I like this show. However, I needed to stick with it and not just watch the first episode (which seems a bit ridiculous in parts). The story-lines really start to pay off after a few episodes and the crazy scenes in the pilot start to make more sense thematically. Despite some medical inaccuracies, I appreciate that they don't constantly fall into the typical positive ending/ nobody dies trope; That scene where the monitors are flashing and tensions are running high, then suddenly everything reads normal (whew, THAT was a close one). Despite the first episode, I don't find the sex and "love interest" story-lines to be frequent enough to be annoying. I like the emphasis on hospital politics and the balance between profit and patient care (especially in a private, more exclusive, hospital). All in all, I find it to be a very enjoyable show and look forward to more episodes.
