I'm only halfway through Season 2 and I'm already super annoyed by Mindy's character. She is materialistic, selfish, short-sighted, imaginative, and unconfirmed. She isn't a role model or an anti-hero, just some weirdo in the middle who is content with the sad, man-driven life she lives. Yes, she is an amazing doctor, but besides that she is not showing any sort of growth. Amanda Setton and Anna Camp we're both demoted. I'm most upset about the Camp demotion because she provided a nice contrast to the wild, airy Mindy character. I thought since Kaling and B.J. Novak were Office alums, there would be more smart writing and less cliche rom-com storylines. Let's see a woman that can live without wanting to bang every guy she sees. I will finish the series (painfully) because of my TV OCD, but I won't like it. If my feelings do change, I will update this.

This show makes zero sense. It looks like it's supposed to be based in modern day, real life but it is a total fantasy. The main character, who is an overweight, average looking girl, is for some reason sought after like she is a goddess and she acts like it too. It comes across as one of those people who is angry they didn't win the gene lottery so they act like a complete bitch. In real life, nobody likes those people but in this show they love her. Besides that, it's your usual stale sit-com jokes with repeating stories and lack of development.

I really loved the 3 first seasons. But then something happened, Mindys friendships got less and less space (what happened to her best friend???) and it was just som dude, some guy, bla bla. I watched every season, just because of lojalty, but I must say that the last seasons just wasnt that funny :(

My initial thought was, "Wow, this girl gets her own show?" Her shrill little voice and her crazy remarks drove me crazy in The Office, but it wasn't like I completely hated her.I gave the show a shot and what do you know! I'm hooked! She is an OBGYN taking life by the hand and dating it. She dates all of these guys, constantly pokes fun at herself, and sheds light on what it feels like to be a minority. Her love life always seems to have these little kinks to them and her attempts to make the best of them are hilarious. Her coworkers complement her persona in the show which makes it (currently) my all time favorite.Watch it and see what I'm talking about!
