A lot of people like to gawk at accident scenes after they happen on the road. Well, here is your chance to do it in your living room. This show has featured punching, biting, kicking, screaming, and things that even would make abnormal life look good. Yet when you tune it in, for a short while your interest get peaked and then you have to turn it off. Kind of reminds me of a Facebook News Feed. If you do not know enough to shut that off, it gets depressing. So does this, they both need to be prescribed in safe doses. The guy comes on, who is unhappy with his marriage. Then they bring out his 3 girl friends and lastly the wife, and we have cat fight riots on the stage. Then there is the brother who one one donned a mask and got in bed with his sister and his mother and had a threesome. Then when they both got pregnant he tried to deny and is stopping here on the way to Maury's DNA test, hoping for an escape clause.Jerry when he first started would have celebrity guests during sweeps. Now, he has totally gotten away from that and finds the most absurd guests willing to duke it out, all for our entertainment. Of course Jerry always gets the last word. It's a good thing they have all the security on this show because at least Springer comes out without a scratch. That is a rare thing for the guests, but some of them have done such unusual things, they are already in bad shape before the wrestling match. I mean, a black woman proclaimed on one show she wanted to try out a white guy just to find out if she liked it with him. Meanwhile, she chooses the white guy who is getting ready to marry her sister. Meanwhile their mom spent the night with him too.Every so often, when I need to shake my head loose, I spend about 30 minutes with this. I have figured out, that is all I need. I do the same thing with Facebook Feeds now too. It makes life simpler, at least for me. That is my final word.

Well what can i say... i personally think this is one of the worst if not the worst "talk show" ever, i don't know why it is on TV or how it ever got on TV, i remember watching it years ago and saw it on TV recently and i didn't get why it is still on TV. Everything about it i don't get. I thought shows like this was meant to help people resolve their problems? all this show does is make people look cheap and make them regret it later in life... i mean why is there a pole? what has that got to do with the price of cheese? and when the audience shout for the women to pull her top up, SHE DOES!!! like wow, just shows how low people will go... and then the audience start lifting their tops to get some beads *rolls eyes*... i bet your mother / grandchild / child is very proud.I don't get why people still watch it and i don't get why people go to be in the audience, nothing ever gets resolved, all they do is use the pole, fight a little bit and then get a body part out and then thats it the end.. oh yeah OK well Jerry does contribute i guess, by saying a word or two to make the audience laugh, that helps. This show might be for some people and this review isn't meant to put anyone down, you like what you like i guess, it just confuses me knowing that some people do like this.I only rated it a 1 / 10 because i can't rate lower.

The Jerry Springer Show is unlike any show on television and not for a good reason. The Springer show focuses mainly on violence and the people on the show are usually poor white trash. The topics on the show range from people cheating on their spouse, to transvestites and hookers. The topics used to have more of a variety in the past but now are mainly cheating spouses. The people that come on the show do it to mainly get a piece of someone that has wronged them or to defend themselves. Calling the Jerry Springer show a talk show seems ironic because the majority of the show focuses on violence.Usually the format of the show goes like this: someone will come out and tell Jerry what is going on in their life. After talking with them another guest comes out and the fight begins. Security separates them and Jerry asks another question or two. Usually the 2 people just go back to fighting and then the next guests will be brought out for a different story. At the end of the show they all sit on stage when guests ask insulting questions. Finally Jerry gives his final thought as if they came to that conclusion because of the show. All of the side antics on the show are both funny and ridiculous. So the bottom line is when it comes to the Springer show is it is purely entertainment at its lowest level. It can be fun to see trashy people fight or stupid issues but this show really does nothing to solve people's problems. It exploits those problems for ratings and makes it into a circus. So watch the Springer show for entertainment but not for an intelligent talk show or anything above wrestling.

No one knows how addicted I am. I love The Jerry Springer Show. At first I, like many people, saw it as very trashy. But then I saw how funny it was. Jerry truly does try to help people, and if he can't... it sure is funny in the process! Jerry Springer obviously pokes fun at his guests on many occasions as well which just adds to the lovable absurdness of it all. The show is based around finding the most bizarre stories in the first place... and then encouraging them to fight! (among other things) There is audience interaction which is usually quite hilarious and each time you watch it you have no idea what people will do or say next. Springer gives me joy every time I see it and because of that I say it's awesome. I <3 IT. =DAlso, I have a t-shirt. =)
