There's an overdose of marketing of Kia Motors vehicles and, hard to believe may seems, a former nurse who is in medicine school and can't afford the purchase of brand new medicine books, is the owner of a shining Sorento which in Brazil costs near US$ 57,000. Some situations are too iterative from one episode to another, such as to poke a terrain with a stick or a golf club and, "voila", an evidence of the crime is hooked in a miraculous way that is more suitable with The Mentalist series. At the very end, the cops make their appearance as coming from nowhere in an impressive operational timing. And, with one thing let's agree, a dead body in a car trunk smells rotten flesh so badly that any one should notice within a mile range. So to speak, the last episode was the only one could see gun shots and Jim put down on the ground.

Great scripts and fun but girlfriend Kiele is not fun to watch. Nasal voice, no facial expressions and boring personality. They needed someone with a little more life in her to play that part. Someone who could spar with Matt and maybe get him in action situations. I kept watching it hoping his other girlfriends would prove out but script writers kept dropping the ball. Matt and the other cast members are great so they carry the show. He has great, fast sarcasm lines and good delivery. Some High Tech crime scenario scripts would have been nice to see and get Matt upgraded a little. All in all a fun show with local sights and issues.

This show is a complete waste of time. It's predictable and not in the least how the real world works. Also, the off handed commercials for the great space in the Kia..the heated seats...sunroof. I don't know how much Kia paid but the attention to all the meaningless amenities of the car is distracting and unbelievable. I can't believe I wasted time with this show. One of the only good things is the acting by "Callie". The relationship she has is one of the only reasons I kept watching. Although keeping her in the story is sometimes repetitious, her acting makes it worth putting up with. If only real cops would do their job half as good.

This is NOT 'comfort TV' ala Murder, She Wrote. This just lightweight summer replacement. But when you invest time in what you think IS comfort TV and in the very last episode they KILL THE HERO just 20 minutes before he's due to marry the love of his life, all I can say is "A&E I'll NEVER write for any of your shows". I won't ever watch anything supplied by A&E ever again. (It's easy for me to say that as I don't write tripe TV episodes anyway, and I don't have cable TV, just netflix. But why or why didn't I read the episode list and the reviews before I invested a hour a day for a week to watch the last season? TRIPE, GARBAGE, WASTE OF ITME. I hope the hero knows he will never ever get another series. He's not good looking enough, and he was STUPID enough to be in that kind of cliffhanger knowing the series was canceled with the cliffhanger. UGH. P.S. IMDb I was one of the original TCP technologist developers so don't have some autoresponse tell me NOT TO SHOUT in my summary, because I do NOT consider ALL CAPS to be 'SHOUTING', it is simply EMPHASIS. Gees Looueez! What are you, sheeple??
