ironkid-363-433865 I actually really hate shows like the Voice, Got Talent etc. They're all so fake and promote mediocrity... This is the only show of that genre that made me binge the entire first season because I actually cared for the contestants. I wasn't a big fan of the judges in the first place but they grew on me. I don't know what everyone is talking about but Diddy is keeping it real! This show doesn't tolerate mediocre singer like the other shows and that's why I love it. Even DJ Khaled keeps it real lol They know when someone doesn't have it and when someone does. The performances gives me goosebumps most of the time, and you can tell the contestants are real artists and more than just great singers. Even Fergie keeps it real lol Zhavia, Tim, Rell, Saeed, Vincint, Candie, Evie all really left a mark on me! They're not just one-time performers, they're the kind that you want to see more and that doesn't happen often. You see that kind of talent in other shows like once every season. This one had 7 lol I just feel this show is really genuine and I'm honestly shocked seeing all the bad reviews and I honestly hope they don't cancel it!!! Some people find the trashtalk, the judges' bias and dialogues between each other unprofessional but no, I think they're just keeping it genuine and I find that refreshing and that's its charm. Why do people want another cookie-cutter show??? It's so stupid to me. Like a bunch of sheep PLEASE KEEP THIS SHOW!! I almost think some people are paid to bash this show, but please keep it going, at least for a few more seasons!!
johnkerher The hosts are silly, trying to make the best of a really bad format. The format is biased, unfair, and simply stupid. No and I mean NO, really, really good artists are going to waste time and subject themselves to this. You should instead have the contestants draw straws to challenge someone. The only time, and I mean the ONLY time a real vote takes place seems to be when the audience votes, but even that seems like it could be rigged pretty easily on this show. I think its totally rigged by the producers, trying to do all they can to make the show seem exciting and challenging, but it just falls flat.BUT, if you like a lot of smack talking from a bunch of adult sized children, this may be your cup of tea!
bkmotive With DJ Khaled, P Diddy, Meghan Trainor as Judges, and Fergie from The Black Eyed Pea's as the host.. How could you go wrong? You also have record executive Charlie Walk (who?) who adds his own interesting, yet sometimes harsh perspective to the show. The concept of the show is quite unique in the sense that contestants can take a spot on one of the four seats on the show by competing against the previous seat holder in a battle based on talent. To be eligible to compete against one of the four seat holders, a contestant must first showcase their own talent by performing for the judges who decide whether they are ready to challenge a seat holding contestant ie: one of "The Four". The competition gets fierce as contestants call out the prestigious seat holders who have fought for their seats and fought to keep their seats episode after episode. What's great about this show that other user reviews fail to realize is... The show is not about the judges like American Idol, X Factor, The Voice.. The show is about the talent.. and the judges just add to it because of their prestige in the industry as well as their over the top personalities.. such as DJ Khaled... A blast to watch! This show has all the elements of a hit show and it's no wonder Fox picked it up for a 2nd season!**Note: some of the other user reviews that were voted for their "Helpfulness" are terribly un-insightful and super opinionated.. I'm guessing some of these people have tons of complaints on yelp based on subjective reasoning.
theresa-02645 Evie, yes !!!!! she killed it with class. this girl is going big.
