The premise of this show is to find solutions for people that call on the investigators so they can remove the dark forces from their homes and move on with their lives. Most of them are terrorized and traumatized by unseen spirits within their homes. In many cases even the children are involved, parents are crying as they have no idea how to protect them anymore. These people reach the end of the rope before they call for help.... and they call Mr. DiShiavi and Ms. Amy Allan. What a duo: Mr. Dishiavi acts like he is investigating a crime scene and its witnesses. He is matter of fact, almost cold and indifferent in his approach. His "detective work" takes him to libraries, reading film and document archives and speaking to historians. That's what he does in this poorely executed show.
Amy Allan is the psychic with no credibility in my eyes. She might be a good psychic, but when someone starts rolling their eyes, bulging them to make her look completely laughable, I begin to wonder how much of this showmanship is what she really sees and hears or is it all an act. She looks completely grotesque and it's impossible to take her seriously. She annoys me to no end when she starts swearing. There is no need for that. I sense a complete lack of professionalism on her part.
After watching all this, I am preparing myself for the grand finale: the huge letdown. I know it's coming. At the end of the show the notes are compared between A. Allan and Mr. Dishiavi, pictures of the tormentors are revealed to the horror of the people that are victimized by them.... but at the end NOTHING IS DONE to help these people.
They have suggestions to call in the priests, reiki masters, mediums, psychics etc. But that's almost an afterthought. So why are they there? To show everybody they can read a library fiche?
I could not ever leave without helping these people first. A lot of them are struggling financially and can't afford moving out. All they receive from that "brilliant" duo is a piece of advise who to get in touch with after the visit. Mr. Dishiavo, do your real investigative part and find someone to help them. This show should not be about you or your partner. Help these folks !

same as someone else said. if I could give a million stars i would. this is a very serious TV show and with REAL life problems having this stuff happen to me before i discovered my abilities as a healer and an intuitive empath and physical empath. I started taking control of the crazy stuff going on in my life. I noticed when i did EVP's after i was finished and done, a new spirit would be in the home before investigating time. I been researching why in the heck sooo many spirits HATE when people living people come around to visit or communicate. you'd think they soul Be excited not only are people wanting to communicate with them BUT they would be dying to get the hell out of that place! but instead we always get "GET OUT" unless I'm in there in the house alone then they talk. but I'm just curious why is it, they ALL , human or not, can see each other and some older spirits do not use the same space time just like some 18 people who died in the 1800's can and DO see all each other but many from the medieval days cannot see those from the 1800's. its CRAZY!!! guys. also why is it they HATE being on camera camcorder?? notice many wonderful perfect recordings taken where the cam corder pans over to catch something (was a little boy with blond hair and he slides over to the left TOTALLY avoiding the camera but we got his full side and including some of his back and much of his hair however you can clearly see he is gliding even though you know you cant see the feet. you know when something is in a gliding state or walking. you know if someone is on N ESCULATOR AND SOMEONE WALKING ON STAIRS LOL ITS A DEAD GIVEAWAY.AMY why are their NEVER any positive spirits when i encounter them since i was little.. it almost seems... well,..this will sound a bit nuts... but here i go, WHAAAT IIF! when a person dies and is pulled to the higher vibration state, what isn't taken and is left over is possibly the jacket or cocoon or blanket of negative energy coming off now that the soul is crossing over and cannot take this negative spiritual body with them. that's what this whole deal with ascension must be. this is the time period where everyone is allowed to be released out of your death state. why do you think some people ask whats your name or were you with the union or Confederates, many say I do not know. maybe this is because of the death state which is like a dream state or like being drugged up, maybe like drunk in a way, it can be a total bullshit theory but is worth looking into. NOT everyone is bad when they die therefore or prior to death. so WHY IN THE HELL do they carry so much negative energy with them causing the environment to be soo heavy and oppressive. its really not goo AT ALL and people can and will become verrry sick due to living around that terrible horrifying death energy. i guess my questions revolve around why we NEVER run into anyone positive EVER!

I have NEVER seen a tackier paranormal investigation show. What a crock of sh**. Amy Allan should be given an Academy Award for her role as "medium". She must have done some serious acting to convince the producers to include her in the cast. Her and the retired cop ARE SO TACKY. AMY WHY ARE YOU SO TWITCHY. WHY DO YOU PRETEND TO FALL INTO A DEEP POSSESSED TRANCE. WE KNOW You're MAKING IT UP. Everything is extremely scripted. Like they don't even try to make it convincing. Basically, the medium does a walk thru of the property with her camera crew. Pretends to encounter the dead and various other non human evil presences (ex: 7ft tall, long-limbed creatures wearing white masks that want to kill everything). The cop "investigates" the history of the home/property and past inhabitants, Amy has a sketch of what she sees done up, the crew and property owners come together and compare notes that all magically match up perfectly. Just the worst.

Wow, this is a hilariously bad show. As if the poor acting by the stereotypical NYC Detective guy wasn't silly enough, the phony paranormal medium Amy will seal the deal for gut busting comedy relief. Amy makes these stupid, goofy faces throughout the entire show, but at the end of every episode when the comedy duo sit at a table with the home owners, she makes these ridiculous facial expressions that leave me in stitches. As far as legit paranormal investigation goes....this show earns a negative 10 stars out of a positive 10. It's embarrassingly scripted & set-up. Tony De Italian Wah-La-Bah-Loo asks the folks what they're experiencing during the daytime & like a perfect Broadway play.....the camera cuts to Amy at night walking through the house & saying everything she is supposedly "seeing" , but its EXACTALLY THE SAME THING THE PEOPLE DESCRIBED......WORD FOR WORD. Amy has the power to talk to the dead & actually see things that happened in the past, but every episode ends with Amy telling these homeowners to call someone else to come & tell these ghosts, spirits & demons to leave ?!?!?! WT???? If this broad is THAT talented..she should be able to fix the problem herself !!!!! The show is an absolute SCAM....BUT...I gave it 5 of 10 stars for being a Comedy . It's hilarious !!! One episode is at the home of a black woman & Amy makes all these stereotypical "Black" faces(like..uh uh girl friend). I was praying out loud that these black women would call her out on it. Watch it for laughs...Weed helps
