Sergeant NG CHUNG-MING and inspector CHEUNG SZ-MAN meet each other by chance and they become lovers. However, their relationship is not supported by MING’s supervisor CHEUNG SZ-CHAI who is also MAN’s older brother. CHAI’s team fails to arrest the gang leader Brother GAU and CHAI believes that MING should be responsible for the failure because he has been distracted by CHENG SIU-YAN while carrying out his duty. YAN rushes to her best friend COCO KAM’s home for COCO has been beaten up by her boyfriend again. YAN kicks COCO’s boyfriend away angrily. MING worries about the business of his younger brother CHUNG-HONG’s boxing club but HONG explains that he has got a great business development plan already. YAN brings COCO to meet with her ex-colleagues but COCO is attacked by some gangsters again. YAN realizes that COCO has borrowed money from the loan shark……

YAN meets MING again and she believes that MING deliberately makes it happen. MING doesn’t know what to say. After listening to his colleagues’ elaboration on the case, MING believes that YAN is in connection with the case. CHAI appreciates the new inspector KWOK KA-WAI and he wants to introduce him to MAN. YAN invites her father TSUN-CHEONG and her younger sister SIU-MAN to an expensive restaurant for she wants to borrow money from CHEONG… YAN starts working as a masseuse again and MING approaches her deliberately. During the time, the police suddenly come to check the license of the massage shop… CHEONG realizes that YAN has nowhere to go so he suggests her to manage his Chinese medical center. YAN goes to the shopping center and discovers that the Chinese medical center has changed to a Chinese herbal tea shop already but the business is bad……

MING claims that he fails to find a job for a long time and he asks YAN to hire him. He also says that he has got a secret prescription for making Chinese herbal tea. MING returns to ask for support from CHAI but CHAI only arranges a fake identity called KO WAI-MING for him. CHAI introduces WAI to MAN and he arranges a bowling gathering for them. CHEONG’s admirer SUET-MEI works as a cashier at the Chinese herbal tea shop. She even goes to CHEONG’s home to cook. YAN finds it unbearable and she quarrels with MEI… The submissive SIU-MAN goes to buy lunchbox at the convenience store. YAN wants to accompany her but SIU-MAN tries to keep a distance from her. MING starts working at the Chinese herbal tea shop and YAN asks him to demonstrate Chinese herbal tea making to her. YAN deliberately takes ownership of the shop from MEI and she discovers that MEI is taking money from the shop secretly……

MING gets more information on KEUNG’s case from a gangster and he confirms that YAN is the last person KEUNG met before he disappeared. MING asks YAN to give him the key of the shop so that he could install a monitor at the shop’s telephone. HONG helps MAN to arrange lion dancing and they discuss about MING. MAN wants to help MING secretly but HONG persuades her to introduce more people to his fitness center. CHAI suddenly returns home. MAN realizes that CHAI is feeling lonely and she invites him to live with her. She also introduces CHAI to workout at HONG’s fitness center. CHEONG finds that MING is having a good relationship with his younger brother HONG. He asks MING to give him some advice on building a good family relationship. YAN meets MAN by chance and they become friends. YAN finds that somebody is following her home and she beats that person fiercely……

YAN apologizes to HO and she asks him if he has any plan after being released from jail. HO believes that he will accomplish a lot since he went to the jail for the big gang leader. CHEONG returns home and he deliberately jeers at HO. HO asks CHEONG to give him his home key but CHEONG reveals that HO’s mother had sold the flat when he was sent to jail. HO later discovers that it was CHEONG who bought the flat. CHEONG brings HO to the flat and gives him his mother’s testament… CHEONG doesn’t want others to know that he is the flat owner. HO threatens CHEONG to allow him living in the flat. MING has been buying Chinese herbal tea from a supplier but the supplier is having a holiday. MING has no choice but to buy bottled Chinese herbal tea as a replacement. YAN discovers that MING is buying Chinese herbal tea from outside supplier instead of making it by himself. She is enraged and wants to fire him……

YAN hurts her leg accidentally and MING carries her on the back to the hospital. YAN apologizes to SIU-MAN for hurting her twice. While returning to the fitness center, HONG is attracted by the smell of food and he enters a fast food shop. He discovers that the cook is SIU-MAN, the mini-bus passenger whom he helped before. HONG arrives at the fitness center and he finds that HO wants to take over his place as the honorary coach by challenging him… MING asks CHEONG about the past of YAN and CHEONG misconceives that MING is interested in YAN. MAN invites BONNIE and her son CHARLIE out on behalf of CHAI. However, CHAI behaves too seriously in front of CHARLIE and CHARLIE doesn’t like him. The Chinese herbal tea shop is losing money. MING suggests that they should renovate the shop. MING and YAN even pretend to be newly married couple in order to get discounts……

HONG helps to renovate the Chinese herbal tea shop with his partner at the fitness center. The injured COCO suddenly comes to look for YAN. MING is shocked to find her in tears… YAN asks MAN out and she deliberately invites MING as well. MING pretends that he doesn’t know MAN. After renovation, the Chinese herbal tea shop is opened again. HO brings his gangsters to the shop but CHEONG asks them to leave. MING worries that HO will not come again so he apologizes to HO on behalf of CHEONG. SIU-MAN remembers that HONG is looking for Chinese herbal tea prescription for MING. She finds the famous prescription of CHEONG from an old magazine and she decides to bring it to HONG. SIU-MAN is shy to approach HONG directly so she put the prescription on a takeaway meal box. However, HONG gives the meal box to his workmates and he doesn’t realize that there is a prescription there……

HONG and SIU-MAN finally find the prescription in the rubbish bin. HONG is very grateful. CHEONG tries to create chance for MING and YAN. MING doesn’t know his intention and he cancels the date with MAN to meet them. COCO visits the Chinese herbal tea shop for she worries about YAN. She chats with CHEONG and they gain a better understanding of each other. HONG thanks SIU-MAN with a little gift and SIU-MAN feels sweet. HO’s past gang leader KWAN is invited to give a speech in a school by MAN. HO is invited to be the guest as well. MING tries to make CHEONG’s famous Chinese herbal tea but he fails. CHEONG asks him to try again with YAN. MING and YAN invite HO and MAN to help. HO reveals to YAN that MAN is a policewoman and YAN is shocked. After discussing with COCO, YAN decides to stop contacting MAN. CHAI returns home to find MAN and MING acting intimately. He scolds MING angrily and MING leaves disappointedly.

MING returns home to find HONG doing exercises crazily. HONG reveals that he is ashamed for hurting SIU-MAN. MING asks him to explain himself to her as early as possible. SIU-MAN goes to watch HONG in a competition with a healthy lunchbox and she meets HONG’s family members there. MING makes the famous Chinese herbal tea successfully and CHEONG is overjoyed. KIN’s factory is losing money and he asks MING for help. HONG lends him the money he won from the boxing competition. The wholesaler of Chinese herbs suddenly comes to the shop. YAN is shocked to realize that MEI has stolen the money for buying Chinese herbs. After clarifying his relationship with MEI, CHEONG decides to fire her. YAN is enraged for CHEONG didn’t ask MEI to return the stolen money and she suspects that CHEONG is also keeping some secret money… After losing a lot of money in his business, KIN commits suicide and he is sent to the hospital……

YAN reveals to MING that her mother has changed her life. MING secretly appreciates YAN’s strong character. SIU-MAN brings HONG a healthy lunchbox again. HONG suspects that SIU-MAN is in love with him. He tries to clarify himself indirectly and SIU-MAN is very sad. MING and MAN discuss about YAN’s case. MAN believes that HO and YAN try to keep a distance from her because they have discovered that she is a policewoman. SIU-MAN sends a special lunchbox to the fitness centre’s coach. Everybody therefore teases HONG for misconceiving that SIU-MAN is in love with him. CHAI wins in a ballgame and he brings his champion cup to CHARLIE but CHARLIE reacts indifferently. CHAI tries to air his grievances to HONG and HONG decides to help him……

YAN clarifies to MING that she didn’t kill someone but she admits that she owes the gang a large sum of money. YAN wants CHEONG to hire HO but CHEONG suggests YAN to hire COCO instead. YAN explains that COCO has shortcomings and COCO moves away angrily. MING doesn’t know why YAN insists to hire HO. YAN reveals that HO has helped her a lot before. Also, she has asked the snack shop owner to hire COCO. MAN waits for MING in the morning and she reminds him to keep a distance from the suspect YAN. MING doesn’t pay attention to her advice at all. MAN invites YAN to help shooting a short video. YAN worries that this will arouse the gangsters’ attention so she rejects her. However, she later realizes that this could help boosting the business of her Chinese herbal tea shop so she agrees eventually. MING overhears YAN’s conversation with Brother GAU accidentally……

YAN is shocked to see so many police. Luckily, MAN calms her down tactfully by saying that they are actors only… CHAI questions MING if he has asked MAN to help approaching YAN. MING blames MAN for creating troubles to YAN and MAN returns home dispiritedly. CHAI blames MAN for getting involved in the investigation secretly because of MING. YAN finds that COCO takes good care of CHEONG so she tries to ask her why but this has created further misunderstanding between the two friends. CHAI and his colleague go to the fitness center. The colleague recognizes that HONG is MING’s younger brother so he persuades CHAI to finish his course soon to avoid future embarrassment when carrying out his duty. HONG reveals to MING that MAN fails to get promoted because of him and she has lent money to KIN for him. He blames MING for not appreciating MAN’s devotion on him……

YAN tries to discuss the issue of MING with COCO and COCO suggests firing him… In order to resolve YAN’s worries, MING and his colleague act in front of her and YAN trusts MING even more after this. YAN finds that CHEONG and COCO are returning together. She warns CHEONG that he should not approach COCO or she will be angry with him. YAN cares about SIU-MAN’s relationship with HONG. She believes that SIU-MAN should dress up to attract HONG. SIU-MAN is overjoyed to receive a gift from YAN and she decides to dress up… MING’s Chinese herbal tea is very popular and the shop is starting to have profits. However, YAN finds that the money is missing again. It was CHEONG who has taken away the money to help COCO moving out. COCO comes to the shop to scold YAN heartlessly. YAN returns home and she discovers that COCO is trying to jump off from the building… MAN and WAI arrive at the Chinese herbal tea shop respectively……

MING asks MAN out and he blames her for not clarifying her relationship with WAI. They then leave unhappily. SIU-MAN resigns at the food shop and the shop owner humiliates her. HONG passes by and he speaks up for her. CHEONG blames SIU-MAN for quitting the job impulsively and SIU-MAN reveals to him that the shop owner is very harsh. YAN lends MING the profits of the shop for she believes that MING is worried because of financial problems. MING rejects her gently. YAN misconceives that MING feels inferior about himself so she reveals the story of the missing KEUNG to him… HONG asks SIU-MAN out and they become lovers eventually. MING reports to CHAI that YAN is not involved in KEUNG’s case but CHAI wants MING to continue investigating Brother GAU. CHOI invites MAN to have dinner at home. MING finds that MAN has returned the love token he sent her. MING reveals his feelings to MAN whole-heartedly……

HO asks MING to send SMS to YAN on behalf of him. He hopes that MING will feel jealous about it but MING encourages HO to approach YAN. On the way home, CHAI meets his parents who just return from abroad earlier than schedule. His parents want to know the relationship status of MING and MAN. HONG hurts himself while dating with SIU-MAN and SIU-MAN brings him to CHEONG’s place for treatments. MING is shocked to realize that HONG’s girlfriend is SIU-MAN……

LAI fights with her husband because he keeps borrowing money from others. They meet YAN and MING on the street accidentally. MING’s real identity is nearly disclosed in front of YAN. MING returns home to find LAI borrowing money again. MING also discovers that LAI has been beaten up by her husband. MING insists that LAI should get a divorce but CHOI and HONG ask MING to respect LAI’s decision. CHAI asks HONG to help improving the relationship with his son CHARLIE. HONG agrees but he makes CHAI injured accidentally. CHAI discovers that HONG is MING’s younger brother and he is angry about it. YAN tries to sell bottled Chinese herbal tea at the supermarket. SIU-MAN asks HONG to help and MING is frightened. CHAI learns that MAN decides to marry MING and he quarrels with her. MAN learns that CHAI asked MING to approach YAN because he wants to ruin her relationship with MING……

YAN wants to scold MAN for being a love thief but she overhears MAN’s conversation with MING. YAN learns that MING is a policeman as well as the boyfriend of MAN. YAN asks HO to help her leaving Hong Kong illegally and she tells HO that she has “killed” KEUNG accidentally. HO reveals the truth behind KEUNG’s death to YAN… YAN pretends to be cold to MING and she reveals everything to COCO. They both worry that SIU-MAN cannot accept the truth. CHEONG tells COCO that he wants to fuddle MING so that he will sleep with YAN. YAN utilizes the trick to declare her love to MING and they kiss each other… Later, YAN reveals to MAN what has happened and MAN is heart-broken… YAN reveals to everybody that MING is a policeman and she kicks him away. SIU-MAN recognizes that MING’s Chinese herbal tea prescription was the one she gave HONG earlier and she believes that HONG is cheating on her…

MING doesn’t want to be humiliated by CHAI again so he decides to cancel the wedding with MAN and MAN is shocked. CHAI tells WAI the news and WAI invites MAN to workout together for stress relief… HO discovers that KEUNG’s wife and mistress are killed one after the other. He worries that YAN will be the next target. CHOI suffers from cataract. MING and HONG are very worried. KIN’s business fails and he commits suicide again. CHOI finds it unbearable and she reveals to KIN that all family members are facing great difficulties… YAN finally discovers that COCO and CHEONG are dating. She believes that they are lying to her deliberately. COCO worries that CHEONG will separate with her because of YAN and she asks HO to drink with her. After talking with HO, COCO discovers the truth behind CHEONG’s romantic and unrestrained image. CHAI wants to transfer MING to the archive office…

While going out with WAI, MAN meets her first love CHUNG YAT-LONG. MAN tells her parents about it and her parents misconceive that MAN might reunite with LONG. SHAN decides to meet up with CHOI for she wants to reunite MAN and MING. HONG performs badly in the competition. SIU-MAN arrives suddenly to support him and HONG finally wins the competition. MING gathers information of CHAI for compiling the record of outstanding staffs in the police force. He finds a lot of questionable aspects when CHAI was handling GAU’s cases. He believes that CHAI is rather suspicious and he tells CHAI’s colleague TUNG SHU-CHUNG about it. YAN finds that both CHEONG and SIU-MAN encounter some strange things. She believes that the gangsters are trying to trouble them again and HO reveals the truth to her. Trying to run away, COCO packs up her belongings and she discovers a memory card in KEUNG’s leather bag. YAN decides to hand it over to MING……

HONG fails to reach MING and he tells MAN about it. MING is confined. He finally realizes that he has misunderstood CHAI and the real GAU is another person. YAN believes that MING is confined by GAU and she asks HO to give their copy of the memory card to the gang. HO meets up with GAU and he is confined as well. With the help of HO, MING runs away successfully. MING learns from HONG that YAN and her family members are missing. He therefore asks CHAI to arrest the gangsters but they find nobody at the place where HO was confined. CHAI believes that MING is telling lies and he wants to arrest him… MING meets up with HONG and MAN. They go to GAU’s elderly center to rescue YAN and the others. CHAI decides to leave the court to help MING. BONNIE is very upset for CHAI has given up fighting for the custody of CHARLIE because of his works and she stops CHAI from leaving… YAN and her family members are in danger……
