ger-thorpe I love the stargate franchise, it kept my mind occupied while grieving my dad and I will watch them over and over again, Was so looking forward to origins coming out but have never been so disappointed, 10 min episodes I thought something was wrong and then the terrible acting, awful special effects and it's like a poor slap stick comedy. It makes a mockery of the sg1 atlantis.

Zen-2-Zen Who will win ? Can 11min episode stand against say 40 ? I'll tell you in 40 min :-)Or maybe not - coz, just like most other TV show, this managed to get boring an hard to endure (who's watching :-) "mid season". So it's really the "number" that decides ? No matter how much, or little, material they have to write - half the way they will become unbearable :-)I believe most of these 1-s just couldn't bear to continue past that cringing point. Well, I'll try - even is just to tell you what's on the other side :-) And what the hell is that Mercedes at the end of every "episode"? I want Tesla :-)))It does have a number of magic moment in the final 20% - just like any other show.But the "finale" was just plain stupid. Yas I do know that they had to fit into the past "mythology" but MGM is a dying company that couldn't pay more than 5% or normal production costs so I think it's fair to say that "someone" should have been brave enough to try a reboot. There would be another company to pitch in. There always is if there's something remotely worth saving.And no more that Mercedes - OK ? Read my lips - Tesla - T e s l a - you know what I mean :-)

jarvil This has to be some of the worst acting I have ever seen. The timing of most cut shots with dialogue seems so bad as to be almost experimental. The story stutters and dies in the dialogue which jerks along like a mouse pulling a piece of debris across the floor. I've seen buzzing flies more interesting than this zero budget travesty and the lead female is neither believable or credible. Where in gods name did they cast these people from, children's playtime? With clearly no acting experience, this judders along leaving your eyes watering in disbelief that someone could do this to the Stargate franchise. This should have been stopped at the cutting room and dumped in the bucket at the door.
