Honestly, I didn't know what to expect when I watched the first episode on YouTube but this really looks and feels like the original series. The sets, costumes, the story lines, even the effects are spot on. The acting, for some of the crew was a little wooden at first, but by the latest episode, the entire crew has evolved and improved significantly. It's really remarkable what these people have done with their passion and such a small budget, as opposed to some of the garbage that comes out of Hollywood these days. I would love to see this get mainstream exposure, a bigger budget, a release on Netflix or on an appropriate channel like the SciFi network or CometTV. In my opinion it's even better than the recent reboot films and I'm not lying when I say that there are times where I'll be watching this and I'll forget that it's not the real thing, especially the actor that plays Captain Kirk, he really has the mannerisms down to a science.

This is an excellent series. It's not the original, but it's the closest I've seen. Vic and Michelle are great. I know Next Gen was the first time we saw a counselor, but it doesn't mean they weren't around on the original series. Enterprise had 430 crew members. It's fair to guess about 50 could've been medical. We never saw all the crew. So who knows. I think the acting is so good, I wish CBS would make this the new Trek show, instead of Discovery! Please people, if you're a true Trekkie, don't bash the children of the original actors. The Scotty isn't bad, and it's great to have actual Trek blood on the show!

I was born the same year that this all started and meet most of the cast over the years outside of the fan experience. The movies are great but this is the only one that made me close my eyes ans swear i was hearing the original. The original spirit is certainly alive and well to a almost eerie degree.A very good eerie and one that is most definitely needed in this day and age.On a more personal note this scotty would make the past scotty a very proud father.

I'm going to keep this relatively short,I am normally skeptical of amateurly produced star trek or anything for that matter but the attention to detail and the atmosphere created by these episodes is fantastic.I would like to congratulate Vic Mignogna firstly on his wonderful characterisation of James T Kirk and secondly for his dedication to the production (I even noticed his name in the carpentry credits). What has been achieved here by this collective could be the beginning of something bigger than star trek TOS.If the same production values of this series are applied to another franchise then the general public can look forward to limitless episodes of their favourite series regardless of networks, advertising and commercial interests.Anyway, enough gushing, congratulations again to cast and crew and keep up the exceptional work.
