To be honest with you guys, SpongeBob is one of the greatest modern TV shows in history. It appeals to everyone and most episodes are entertaining, though there are your mediocre episodes (One Coarse Meal, A Pal for Gary, etc). I've always enjoyed the show and the bad seasons are okay, but are still watchable. Even the worst season of SpongeBob is better than Teen Titans Go!Season 1: good start with paper based animation (9.5/10)Season 2 and 3: Classic with the most memorable lines ever written (10/10)First movie: Good plot, good writing (9/10)Season 4: Still good no bad episodes (9/10)Season 5: It's still alright except for some averages (8.5/10)Season 6: I didn't enjoy this one much but still watchable (6.5/10)Season 7: Same as 6 (6.5/10)Season 8: Better than 6-7 for sure. (7.5/10)Season 9: Some bad ones like Little Yellow Book but good ones like Kenny the Cat (8/10)Second movie: Good, but not as good as the first (8.5/10)Season 10-11: Much better than seasons 6-9 for sure. Stephen is back on the show too. (9/10)Overall, it still is a great show. Who thought a show would last this long. It's better than Family Guy for sure. I watched a few episodes and I hated it.

After that, the show went off a cliff because Hillenburg left. Seasons 4+ have Spongebob and Patrick Star being completely dumb as well as somehow becoming violent. The characters looks/animation style also changed drastically. Maybe it's just my nostalgia kicking in, but I really hate the way they look now. It's got an overly childish look to them.Season 1 is easily the best though. The animation style made this great. For some reason, it just adds so much humor to it because it's not over the top. The episodes with Patrick Star seem to be the ones I gravitate towards the most. He adds so much comedy to the episodes, which is why at age 25 I still watch them. Bubblestand, Opposite Day, Jellyfishing, Texas, and Hooky being my favorite episodes from that season.Season 2 is the second best season. This one has a slightly different animation style, but it still stays true to the looks of the characters from season 1. You get a lot more variety in this season, but as an older adult I still tend to gravitate towards the episodes with Patrick. Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy III, Wormy, Survival of the Idiots, Band Geeks, The Secret Box, and Sailor Mouth are my personal favorites.Season 3 was decent. Plenty of classic episodes in this one. For some reason I found Spongebob to be slightly annoying in this season. Not sure if they were trying too hard or what. Club Spongebob, Mermaid Man And Barnacle Boy IV, Chocolate with Nuts, and Wet Painters were my favorites.Overall, when re-watching these as an adult, the Episodes with Patrick and/or Squidward in them tend to be the best. The ones that focus on Spongebob (without the aid of Squidward and Patrick) or Plankton tend to be hard to watch when you get older. Also, don't bother watching any season after 3.
