Reviews

erised22-1 I love this show because it sooooooooo hilarious. America doesn't have much funny stuff on anymore, just reality t.v. shows, ugh! This is the best show! This is just too hard to beat.
TheSausageKingOfChicago So Graham Norton is the most funnest talk show ive seen. I just started watching it on BBC America and its the best!! The stand up Sit Down is so dammn funny. Graham interacts more with the people then with the stars that come on his show which i love, other shows love to gives like 1hr to celebs and we have to listen to them talk about how crappy there life is and how much money they make..which isnt the case when it comes to so graham norton. and we lve betty too!!! they get away with saying things you could never hear on late night in america. 10 out of 10!!!
Barnaby Marriott You've only to read my imdb review of The Best of So Graham Norton DVD to know how much I adore this show - I record every episode on videotape so I can watch them over and over again, I have seen two episodes being filmed - the first one I saw was the episode with Sophia Loren and Ben Fogel, the second with Sir Elton John and Kim Wilde! I also cherish the autographed photo Graham Norton himself sent me, signed "For Barnaby, So Much Love, Graham Norton"!So Graham Norton began in 1998 and by 2001, it became one of the most popular TV chat shows in England! Loyal fans tune in every week to see what shocking/embarrassing/sexual/perverted/unbelievable revelation Graham's audience will reveal, and to see which celebrity guests will be brave enough to chat with the cheekily irresistable Graham Norton!Infamous for the hysterical websites that Graham downloads on the show, and for his phoning up wacky civilians (usually in America!), So Graham Norton gets better and better each week, and has made Graham a household name in the UK. Surprisingly, So Graham Norton is also incredibly popular with the critics and has won several awards, including a 2001 BAFTA for Best Entertainment Programme. The current series has come to an end, but will be back in autumn 2001. I for one can hardly wait!
Rod-60 The English prove once again that in the realm of unique, off the wall and generally side splitting comedy, they have no peer.Eschewing tried (and tired) talk show formats in the Johnnny Carson, Letterman Leno, et al vein, openly out Graham Norton opts for and delivers a screaming cocktail of chat, audience involvement, ritual Internet and live phone humiliation that appeared (at least to this viewer) to be both spontaneous and hilarious. He is a natural wit, very quick and sharp, and engages his guests AND and his audience in an atmosphere of mutual fun and outrageous merriment. Be warned -the show is not for the prudish or the faint hearted, but if like me, you love comedy that is dirty, somewhat vulgar and funny in an 'oh my god - I can't believe they got away with that on TV' sort of way, you will love this show.It also strikes you that the US guests on the show loved the irreverence of it all as well - as acts, words and things are said and done on the show that would NEVER be contemplated, much less attempted on the moral majority influenced and highly conservative US networks!Highly recommended!!
