Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) is a devoted soldier for George Washington during the Revolutionary War. It's a fight not only against the British but a fight against pure evil. His battle against the headless horseman sends them both into the present. He partners with local cop Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) in Sleepy Hollow to fight evil apparitions. Her sister Jenny Mills (Lyndie Greenwood) is an unscrupulous antiquities dealer. Frank Irving (Orlando Jones) is the police captain. Ichabod's love Katrina Crane (Katia Winter) is a witch. Henry Parrish (John Noble) has a devastating relationship to Ichabod. The fourth season gets a reboot in Washington, D.C. Abbie is gone as Ichabod and Jenny joins a new group to battle tycoon Malcolm Dreyfuss (Jeremy Davies). This show starts strong. Mison has some fun as a fish out of water. Beharie has a fun platonic chemistry with him. The plot gets more and more convoluted. By season three, the twists and turns have tied the show in knots. The constant injection of new characters left the show in a muddle. The reboot in season four actually works for me. I like the new group and I like Jeremy Davies as the new villain. It regains some stability and good momentum. However, it didn't regain the lost audience.

I like many things about this show, but the one thing that I want to point out is that a majority of the main characters are NOT WHITE and I think it's great! I love the fact that there are so many African Americans in main, recurring roles in this show, it's really refreshing.

I feel sad that people have rated less for this show.I know the history is changed, that's how it is with every series, Come on I'm sure no one believes that Vamps and Werewolves exist right. But if you check on Google, it says how to become one and change and all- I''m talking WIKI :-D :-DThe story is great and the presentation too...I like the way the British guy explains the history with Mr. Washington and the show keeps to intact.Honestly, that;s the thing which matters. I have watched both the seasons and have not found much faults in it.I just love the show for the way it is, couldn't have been better.Good going.... Thumbs Up. Thanks.

I not much of a writer and like to watch a series complete season at once..and this time it was Sleepy Hallow. The series starts well with a strong background story to anchor the audience and well connected story writing between the mythology, religion and reality. in the main cast Tom Mison playing Ichabod Crane, John Noble as Henry Parrish and Neil Jackson as Abraham Van Brunt /Headless Horseman have simply been mesmerizing in their character respectively along with supporting cast such as John Cho, Lyndie Greenwood and 'Privateer'Matt Barr lol... Where as the biggest turn down for me was one member for 2 reasons: Nicole Beharie as Abbie Mills, firstly, he acting lacks depth and true emotional connect. Secondly, the character itself, always doing the wrong thing as if she is not 1 of the 2 Witness, with a capital 'W' but more of a conspirer. How can a Witness be so stupid and franking n bearable to watch for, she would trust a person she just met against her fellow comrade Mr.Crane, she would when asked by the same Mr.Crane to be patient would just go ahead a act exactly the way an irrational mind would do. All i'd say is that this one element with sad acting and bad character script had made this series unbearable to watch and pretty much predictable. Frustrating indeed, i guess it's better to get a sleep than watch Sleepy Hallow.
