If you like Acapella and want to better understand what it takes to get to the ICCA (International Championship of Collegiate Acapella) finals, this is by far the best show in town. I found it even better than Pitch Perfect, because it is about real people and real groups. Some may be disappointing there is not enough singing in the show. But you can find complete performances and well beyond on you-tube. This is not an American Idol show, it's more like a documentary. But you'll be touched by the friendship within the five groups followed. To try to be the best means you have to think you're the best and try to achieve this status. It takes huge effort, patience, hours of training. With no other reward than a shiny trophy and the feeling you walked the way. But for only one team.Just enjoy it and don't get too critical, this is reality show at its best. It has some of the best ingredients: friendship, music and dance, competition, human touch, pure joy and pure deep sadness.

You guys can say all you want about this show but i honestly loved it.It thought it was really fun at times and really sad at times.i thought that even though there was quite a bit of drama it was still great and among that drama was comedy.I was singing along with everyone in Bang Bang as well.I thought that this was a really fun and super energetic acappela show it was super fun and easy going i was devastated that there wasn't already another season when i had finished the show.i loved mostly all the groups except Pitch'Please but other than that i loved all the groups.i am crossing my fingers for another season!

As someone who is actually in a Collegiate Acapella group, this is possible the worst representation of what College Acapella is. This shows leader that are cocky and unprofessional .I am to reassure that this is not what we are all like .This is not what we are actually like. It's really heartbreaking to realize that this what our audience will see what they think is what Acapella really is.I really hope that people will not to see this and think " oh , this what Acapella looks like ." , when in real life, that is not true. I was glad when my group decided that we shouldn't haven't signed up , it probably the best idea for us.

This episode introduced the main groups that the show will be following during the season. Unfortunately, it does't exactly portray them in a favorable light. The leaders of each are shallow, egotistical cretins who think the world revolves around them. Did I mention that they make a point of looking straight into the camera and proclaiming that they and their fellow members are all remarkably beautiful as well as extremely talented? This show also took us through the audition process . . . A seemingly random exercise where eager hopefuls are eliminated by the mere whim of the other group members, particularly their fearless leaders. I can only hope the tone of this show will change once the competition gets underway, because as it now stands, will do NOTHING to help promote interest in Accapella, and could very well have the exact opposite effect.
