jerkassstore One of the greatest sitcoms of all time hands down. What more needs to be said? The worst thing about the show is that Larry David left after season 7. To this day, I'm still pissed about that. I don't think I'll ever get over it. I mean, come on. "I couldn't do it", "I had enough". And Jerry could? All you have to do is look over other people's scripts and try to come up with funny ideas. Oh god, you're killing me. I'm dying over here. What a whiny, spoiled quitter. Do you not have an ounce of mental fortitude? Anyways, great show. And anyone who doesn't like it, and I'm serious about this, they should be put to sleep. See ya later man. Because you lack the most basic of sense to such a degree that you are a person who cannot nor should not be allowed to participate in society. Just get the hell outta here. I can't even fathom that kind of thinking. I mean, do know what you're saying? Can you even comprehend anything? Do you have any sense at all!!???
nora-prigorowsky I like this show because it's easy to watch with anyone, anytime. Perfect in the background, perfect for TV dinner. George and Kramer are hysterical, Elaine is quite funny. Jerry Seinfeld is the worst actor ever, and he is just not funny. Whenever he says a line you can just see in his face that he is trying not to laugh at his own jokes. Annoys the s*** out of me. But as I said, otherwise it's rather nice.
SamPamBam This show could have been funny this show could have been groundbreaking this show could have been the icon that all future comedy is held up tobut it failed and why did it fail?terrible, horrendous castingthe kramer character and the elaine character are slimy and unlikeable, tearing down each scene to some unbearable torment straight from new york city hellin real life, kramer would have no friendsin real life, no one would even talk to elaine
kosmasp A lot of comedies owe a lot to Seinfeld. So it probably will depend if you watched any comedy show before going in to watch Seinfeld. Of course there has been an evolution and another TV show has been at least as influential (Friends). Overall time will tell what has made an impact. Think of Stanford and Son or even the Bill Cosby show (if you can separate the Show and the actual human being in the latter case). But back to this: A show about nothing as it proclaims very proudly. Now of course that is not entirely true. But it is true that it's about everyday life, about relationships and about being human. Flaws and everything included. That does not mean that you don't have a coherent story, actually there is something of a line. And at the end we do get some flashbacks to what happened so far. It is really funny and as with the Cosby show, hopefully you can watch this without having that incident in mind Michael Richards was involved with.I'm only saying this, because you might not be able to enjoy the show otherwise. Especially because Kramer was a favorite. Kind of like a male Phoebe, but with way more crazy in him. A good comedy show, with ups and downs, like real life ...
