I didn't think it would be as intriguing as it turned out to be, but im pleasantly surprised! I enjoyed it a lot, and I love the cast. It had mystery, the killer wasn't obvious and the scenes were very well made! My only wish is that they would make a season continuing the story with the original cast, but that's unlikely maybe.

OK, so I just watched 1st season Honestly, for moments it felt like a 9-10 hours slasher movie (or should I say 9-10 hour scream movie) Differences with movie? well, characters have some growth before they get murdered (unlike you can do with a 1 and a half movie) Plot is similar, but then again Scream plot was a ripoff from Jason's background (from Friday 13th) It's an enjoyable series, and it makes a genre of 1 hour worth expanding with an actual story (gore is there, fear not those who want gore) I have to admit that the whole "social media" changed a lot the pace of the movie/series/plot, but I guess that's the world we live in nowadaysUpdate after S2: OK, sorry, but I have to lower the rank after watching S2. Plot barely made sense, so as the deaths. The real killer is not only one you wouldn't suspect (because it would be ridiculous) but it turns out there was a 3rd killer in the final episode. Speaking of which, the final episode felt like a filler episode, the plot, the kills, and the useless new characters (yes, some characters lasted one episode). Overall S2 fell on what a sequel of slasher movie falls on. Similar characters, predictable deaths (trust me, I predicted every "suspense" moment and how it would end during the whole season). They should have just made a reboot if they wanted S2, cuz the same characters facing the same situations (aka, Noah dating a smart black girl who dies right after/before they were about to have sex) gets too cliché. Hope S3 gets better, but the cliffhanger of the final episode lowered my hopes for that

StoryThe TV series began with a video being recorded on a phone of 2 girls kissing in a car and the video being posted on the internet before a female student from the school was killed by the murderer in her home. The story starts to develop from here as we find out later in the series that Maggie Duval the mother of Emma Duval (one of the main characters) was one of the survivors of the massacre that occurred 20 years before. The killer (Brandon James) had a crush on her but wore a mask due to his disfigurement and was a outcast from society. She attempts to meet with him on the pier on the night he had killed people but as she attempts to talk to him police turn up and shoot him dead. Emma Duval throughout the murders always turned to her journalist friend Piper Shaw who wrote articles about the killings that were occurring in the town, their relationship gets more and more stronger throughout the killings as neither one of them knows if they are safe. We also learn that Maggie Duval had a child to Brandon James but gave up the baby to adoption with the fear of being a mother at a young age scaring her. By the end of the series many people from the town had been killed or had been attempted to been killed which included Emma Duval's boyfriend, Audrey Jensen's girlfriend from the kissing video and Maggie Duval's boyfriend (the sheriff). Emma Duval was forced to make the confrontation with the killer in the last episode were we found out that the killer who wore the Brandon James mask was actually ***** *****.SummaryObviously there is a lot more to this story than what I have told you, I have only told you the key moments from throughout the TV series. If you would like to see the full story then the series can be found on Netflix.I have really enjoyed the TV series of the murders that have been occurring inside this small town. You are made to feel that you know who the murderer is but then have your theory smashed before your eyes as the story never turns out as you would have expected. I would highly recommend this show to anyone who is a fan of mystery, horror or drama. The TV series also features a second series which is also available to watch on Netflix currently. But as well as this Netflix have confirmed that they are releasing a third series but nobody really knows what the story could be of the third series yet, so until it gets released nobody will really know.RatingsStory: 16/20 Cast: 15/20 Enticement: 18/20 Entertainment: 16/20 Recommend: 18/20 Overall I would rate Scream (TV series)- Series 1: 83/100

-Possible Small Spoiler Alert-I made an account just for the purpose of saying how annoying one of the main characters, Emma, is. Not sure if anyone else shares this opinion. Holy mother of god every single time she would come on the screen I would start to cringe in preparation for what over dramatic garbage she would spew out of her mouth. It was almost like she would take any situation and crank the drama knob about 900 levels above where it actually needs to be. I was honestly hoping she would get taken out of the show by the killer at all times during the entire series. I have literally never been so annoyed by a character in a TV show like this one. Other than that I enjoyed all the other characters. The show for sure gets better towards the end of season 2 though. In season one there were times id rather have been watching bees get it on. There are also some massive plot holes. My man the killer was about to get some fellatio from a fine woman with some large titties and instead of letting her do her thing, he kills her! She was literally on her KNEES about 5 inches away from his shlong and he stabbed her! There is no possible way this would ever happen. Unless later on in the show we discover that this man doesn't have a wiener or is gay, I don't think I can excuse this one. Also, one of the main characters drives a god damn nissan cube. I've only ever seen one of those in my entire life on the road. If I saw someone pull up in a god damn CUBE I know this man would have the living crap roasted out of him.
