Tough financial times threaten 232 and two new girls will upset the order of life in the brothel. And Tess, a former high-powered PA who has a surprising motivation for becoming a working girl.

She's forced to confront her future however when Daniel's commitments to his family take priority over her needs. She finds her way back into 232 where a conversation with Lauren piques her interest in sex-work. She's picked up men in bars so she's comfortable having sex with strangers. She decides to give it a go. Amy continues to be a thorn in Lauren's side. Lauren decides to ignore her, but it just incites Amy further, making her even bolder in her attempts to grab attention.

EP3 Out of Tune Dec 22, 2009

Bernie, an off-kilter fetish client of Heather's lands at 232 wanting to see her. Desperate to get rid of him, Nat makes a false promise to find him a replacement, but Bernie's not going to go away that easily. In the pursuit of normal couple dating, Sean takes Nat to the movies where she's like a fish out of water. While Sean thinks it's fun, Nat finds it excruciating. The concept of 'us' is not something that sits comfortably with her and she tells Sean she wants an open relationship.

EP4 Sheik Your Booty Dec 29, 2009

A memory from the past, coupled with the growing health worries, see Mel's uncertainty about her future begin to manifest in the most unusual ways. But then she is made an offer to run a brothel in Abu Dhabi. Sean has a client whose husband likes to watch her have sex. It's disturbing to Sean and when he and Nat argue about the weirdness of the situation, it further highlights their sexual differences.

EP5 Non Standard Package Jan 05, 2010

Amy agrees to a date with a customer after hours and gets into a sticky situation. Daniel continues to pursue Tess, as she struggles to assert herself and set the boundaries of work and play. While Sean is busier than ever, as a pool boy tempting rich cougars, has him questioning what Nat is after.

EP6 Staples, Guns and Roses Jan 12, 2010

Sean's out on his own with some friends: Alice, Steve and client-come-friend, Jemima. He lets his guard down more than usual, drinking, drugging and partying into the wee hours and wakes up the next day, remembering very little — but knowing they had some pretty wild sex. Feeling angry at Sean and realising their differences are insurmountable, Nat manipulates a situation with Bernie which sees Sean bust in on their session. But it opens the way for honest discussion about the state of their relationship and the restrictions it places on both of them.

EP7 Playthings Jan 19, 2010

Following a visit to the doctor, the reality that he was unknowingly penetrated hits home for Sean. Discounting Steve as the culprit confirms Jemima's claims; Alice is the perpetrator. However when Sean attempts to make her accountable, she denies responsibility. When Nat learns of the incident and follows it up with Sean, she urges him to continue to push Alice for the truth. Once again Alice fails to relent which sees Sean threatening blackmail unless she admits to the attack. Tess's regular client, Turnball, returns and she finds herself getting involved in his family problems. Tess seems to be falling into the same routine she had with Daniel; investing unnecessary energy in a no-win situation.

EP8 Not Vanilla Jan 26, 2010

A turn of events at work for Bernie and the subsequent therapy forced upon him by his boss sees Nat grow curious about the origins of her own fetish. This leads her to track down her mother, Loretta. It's an uneasy reunion for Nat, who finds the situation more confronting than she ever imagined it would be. Though Sean initially continues to struggle with the detritus of what happened with Alice, support from Nat and a particularly satisfying session with a client sees him charged with a determination to get over the incident once and for all. Lauren's relationship with John goes from strength to strength but the pull of her children sees her leave him behind when she heads off on a holiday to meet up with her daughter Kate in Hawaii.

EP9 Bug Crush Feb 02, 2010

With Kate home for holidays and her relationship with John developing, Lauren's very content. She's oblivious however, to her daughter's insecurities about the new domestic set up and is aware of the lengths Kate is prepared to go to make trouble between her and John. Amy becomes involved with Dominic, a strange client whose doctor has advised he visits a prostitute because he lacks sexual confidence. Initially Amy thinks he's harmlessly naive, but when Dominic brings along a bug to their session, she realises there is much more to him than meets the eye.

EP10 Lifesavers Feb 09, 2010

Lauren's drinking is taking an alarming turn. A blackout sees her arrive home drunk in the back of the cab. When the police arrive on her doorstep with the news her car was found abandoned and smashed, she finds herself inadvertently withholding information which results in the police thinking her car was stolen. What Lauren comes to remember is quite different — and damaging. She got drunk, drove her car, careened it into a public place and travelled home passed out in a taxi. Mel lands back at 232 with a huge surprise. She's adopted a baby. Something which has happened swiftly and, judging from her nervousness, a role she's not all together convinced she's ready for. Sean however discovers he has a natural instinct with the baby and so, well aware of Mel's insecurities, offers to venture back to Abu Dhabi to help her settle into motherhood.

videorama-759-859391 Satisfaction is one of the better Aussie t.v shows that rises among many others. The show centers around a high class brothel, known as 232, and it's women workers, some of them real hotties, though sexually I really loved Camille Keehan the best, as the more vulnerable, younger, sexier, and less experienced Amy. The show follows the lives of the women outside of the establishment, one with a lesbian lover, another grounded, who hasn't told her daughter what she does yet. Kestie Morassi as the young lass, running the establishment, is great, her strong independent character, masking a lot of insecurities, while Diana Glen, too, is hot, as that grounded mother. We see too, the forms in which their clients come, of course, getting the odd dangerous one. One client of Peta Sergents, the lesbian beauty, gets together with her on the outside for some role playing, him as a kid, Sergent as the mother, I couldn't believe, but it was bloody funny. Satisfaction is almost as raunchy and bold as Secret Diary Of a Call Girl, with it's hot sex scenes, some bloody memorable. Too working in 232, comes male stud, Damien (Dustin Clare) Get this, Keehan's character pays Clare off hours, for some in out, in out. His sister, played by Madeline West who takes over the establishment in the series, walks in and is reassured by Clare who says "Money changed hands". I really liked the brother/sister relationship here. There are so many memorable bits in Satisfaction, a lot of them sexual, and this show does grow on you. The actresses, actors, really turn in good performances, notably best, Morassi, as well as Glen, who's very strong. The characters are real, they have flaws, some carrying a lot of baggage, in particular, Amy. The story lines are different, some of them shockingly tragic, like the beautiful Novakovic's character, who dons a blonde wig at the establishment. A couple are clichéd, and worn, but this show really has you. It's strong, well acted with it's take note performances, and very very sexy. Don't miss out.
bjarias Satisfaction is an addiction, difficult to give up. This is a well done really great series.. bit.ly/15eawEQ .. and it's too bad it could not have lasted for another several seasons. It would seem like these shows should be fairly easy to produce... just having beautiful women dress seductively, say a few lines, remove their clothing, and film it all. Well if it is, why do so many get it so wrong. There are some stunning women in Satisfaction that a majority of men (and women) would find extremely alluring. It's a well done production from top to bottom, and for the short three season run, not at all 'unsatisfactory.' It was a real loss though to have a couple of the lead actors depart the series early... they had become such an integral part of the production. It was clear they would be very hard to replace. But for many just watching the incredible, addictive Madeleine West alone.. bit.ly/1behksb .. over the course of the three seasons would be more than enough. Although it would have been very nice to have seen her a bit longer. The series on the whole was very highly regarded, winning awards and praise. One reviewer commenting.. "Satisfaction is like dipping your toes into a warm bath and sipping on the finest champagne." And we'll never know, but had it been able to make it to air in the U.S., maybe the infatuation and intoxication would have been able to continue on for a bit longer.
lovencare-jess Oh I loved how beautifully they've brought up each character in this show. Im absolutely mezmerized, and left addicted to it. I couldn't believe it was over i wish they had shown a little better closure on the characters lives. Please please please! can some one suggest similar shows. Not 'secret diary of a call girl' some home a sex scene feels ridiculous without nudidty, sweat, panting. I feel Secret diary of a call girl is more commercialized, where the main character....i donot knopw how to put this correctly...'non- relatable', or too superfitial. I guess what im trying to say is that in 'satisfaction they could successfully show each character as normal individuals u meet in ur day to day life, with real problems, and emotions. So u guys must have picked up the hint by how impressed im by the shows and am craving to c more of similar show's with real in depth feeling. I have tried every possible way of searching for similar shows but in vain u guys r my last hope. Love, Jessica.
chrisliz57 How wonderful that Australian drama takes a few risks. Certainly since the U.S influence of HBO series such as The Sopranos, Six Feet Under, Deadwood and Oz, Australians are demanding richer experiences from the small screen. In Satisfaction they surely get just that. With the advent of pay TV production houses, in this case Showtime, we get to experience the lives of people in the work place. This time the work place is unconventional. Its a brothel and while many would envisage sleaze as an undertow, sleaze it definitely isn't. The acting pool in this country is indeed deep and the performances of these particular professionals as they deal with topics and scenes that mere mortals would find very uncomfortable is captivating. With few exceptions every scene in this series is convincing and we believe in the view we get of this slice of Australian life. For those still not convinced they could take this home to either their wife or husband; my experience may be of interest. On placing the series on the kitchen bench in front of my wife she did comment on my choice being a little male orientated, that she wasn't surprised and that it really didn't appeal to her. I suggested she give it 15 minutes; if there was no interest then so be it. We finished the series in a week. I've not heard a word about typical male behaviors since. The first two episodes are directed by Ken Cameron. This Australian director has, in my opinion, always been underrated. His work on this series is compelling and forms the platform by which this series builds the momentum which allows it to succeed. Don't be shy. Ask your DVD shop to get it in. Tell them it will rent like crazy. I did and it does.
