Roseanne is sheer genius in this funny show. The rapport between her and John Goodman is like no other. The show explores almost every topic a real family faces at one time or another and handles each one brilliantly while offering comic relief in between. Love this show so much, the reruns never get old. Roseanne is genuine and relatable.

How did this woman get a show of her own to "star" in (and why would she want to show herself)?! Couldn't believe this show made a come-back as of late; when it first came out, I remember my friends and I trying to figure out how and why this embarrassment to the entire female gender if not the human race could possibly be in a TV show that was being broadcast across the nation--and she was making a load of cash to boot!?! Who would put such a thing together? And air it?! Is this the new low standard of what the average American human family looks like today? Maybe for "Idiocracy" (the movie), but super sad state of affairs if this is what the average American thinks their family looks like and/or finds entertaining as a portrayal of the American family. Super happy to see the ABC cancellation today and stopped in to rate with 1 star (I'd go less if possible) and say yay and good-bye... Here's to higher standards for all.

The first couple episodes it felt forced but by the end of the first episode I was laughing. Some of the material is too real life for me but by episode 6, I was bursting out loud with laughter. It's good to see them back on tv.

This has nothing on the original, the acting is terrible (excluding Goodman) especially the kids. I saw these reviews and thought I'd give it a go but I think most people are blinded by the fact that Roseanne supports Trump and not actually caring about the show because other than that would anyone care that this was on? It'd get cancelled within weeks. Don't watch this, I don't care about your political affiliations just go watch some good tv.
