Synopsis

Rocko is a wallaby who has emigrated to America from Australia. He lives in O-Town and tries to get through life but, of course, comes across a multitude of dilemmas and misadventures he must get through. Other characters include Rocko's best friend, Heffer, a steer who has been raised by wolves, Filbert, a paranoid hypochondriac turtle, Rocko's faithful (but none-too-bright) dog Spunky, and Ed Bighead who detests Rocko and hates having him for a next door neighbor. On this show, Rocko has such adventures as trying to adapt to a new vacuum cleaner, having Heffer move in temporarily after his parents kick him out, and going to a movie theater.

Realrockerhalloween An instant Nichaolden classic that deals with the misadventures of an Australian Wallabie and his two best friends Helfer and filbert.Anamorphic animals that live in O'town USA getting through life and getting caught in the daily lives of the kooky neighbors. The humor derives from double meaning, sarcasm, mean spirited dreams and ironies of the situation at hand. Each episode feels new as they go fishing, deal with space aliens or even travel into the future without aging in deep space. What really sets it apart from other cartoons besides going on forever is the mention or return of recurring characters like the bigheads, Melva the postwoman and friendly little elves that help create a fascinating world where anything can happen if you dream it.A good thing got me since I liked all the new additions, never felt over used and had their own unique charm each time they visited.Rocko may have never won any awards or special recognition it did lead the way in Adult cartoon entertainment that fills adult swim each night. The social commentary added an interesting aspect that are a treat For adult like Rocko having to get married or be deported and cleaning up the forest For the next generation. The animation and pop references may be dated, but it was always a parody of real life anyway and it will just your fit to see Richard Simmons doing the butt press. For a show the writer never had faith in it was a staple in my childhood and brings back wonderful memories when I bought it during its first time ever release on DVD.There never will be another cartoon this interesting again.10/10
atomius I was watching episodes of pepper ann and saw a link to this on youtube and instantly liked it. it's quite a funny cartoon, quite well written and with some interesting and very unique characters. it is surprising to find out it is a nicktoon when most nicktoons are quite dull now, however this was made in 1993 so i guess that makes sense. the characters are good and the plot and all that... the jokes and script is good and funny and its a good cartoon allround. one of the better 90s cartoons. and the 90s had the best cartoons of all time. i mean compare something like this to the crap on now and you'll see just how great normal cartoons like this are. ten out of ten.
deadpat92 It truly is the greatest Nick Toon ever, in my mind. Ranks #1 in my book for Nick Toon, closely followed by Invader ZIM and the Angry Beavers. It's genius was in the fact that no other cartoon up to that point had been like it. It's styling, it's humor, it's characters, and it's quirkiness and craziness made it a cult favorite among many, including me. In my mind it's one of the greatest cartoons ever made. I think the only thing that even can be said that is better than it is The Simpsons. You might say that's a strong opinion but It's what I believe. A rare treat for the ages that everyone knows about. It's always at the back of your mind and whenever brought up in a conversation the first response is, "That show was great!" A perfect 10/10. Nothing will ever be quite like this.
Catherine_Grace_Zeh I used to watch this show when I was growing up. When I think about it, I remember it very well. If you ask me, it was a good show. Two things I especially remember very well are the opening sequence and theme song. In addition to that, everyone was ideally cast. Also, the writing was very strong. The performances were top-grade, too. I hope some network brings it back so I can see every episode. Before I wrap this up, I'd like to say that I'll always remember this show in my memory forever, even though I'm not sure if I've seen every episode. Now, in conclusion, if some network ever brings it back, I hope that you catch it one day before it goes off the air for good.
