kourouklik Nice "popcorn" show....Some good acting and some very bad...Tried to understand what was happening almost through out the show...A lot o scenes started off very promising and ended in disappointment...like someone had a great idea and then lost it...and didn't know how to continue...Styles's wardrobe terrible..Fire the costume designer for sure..Her clothes were "out of the rack" and not at all a billionaire's style...Three children that looked like they all had a different father...And by the way..when you end a season you always put something intriguing so people can't wait for the next...not this time with Riviera...Tip for the scenario-guy.."Dude, watch Shonda Rhimes's shows..you could benefit"..

tracy_samantha This was sold as " The new night manager " so we definitely thought this would be one to watch. How wrong we were. Albeit very stylish and superbly shot, it remained all style and no substance. Week after week we watched it hoping it would improve, but the story line was implausible, muddled and never really made a lot of sense. The acting seemed pretty wooden and script was very poor. We got to the end of the series and was thoroughly disappointed that we had wasted time watching it in the hope that there would be some amazing ending to save it. There wasn't. The only enjoyable part of the series for me.....the fashion worn by the two main female characters, everything else was complete nonsense.

mickeygreyeyes As some of the other reviewers have said, this started off with optimism then went downhill very quickly. I recommended to friends after 2 episodes and now I have had to apologise. The acting and actors are very wooden and amateurish. Sadly to say Lena Olin, Iwan Rheon, and most of the French actors were the main recipients of this crime. Julia Stiles wandered around as if a costume change was necessary for every scene and Anthony LaPaglia was frankly embarrassing. I'm not going to give away any spoilers, just to say that if you give this series a miss your brain will probably thank you. I, by the way like series such as Game Of Thrones, Ray Donovan, Homeland, Narcos etc, so I think I have good taste, although one mans meat is another mans poison as the saying goes.

km-17250 Was looking forward to this show, but unfortunately was left deeply disappointed. Entertaining from times to times but overall story is not engaging. I struggled to finish the third episode, not even mentioning that I could not watch all 10 episodes. In a nutshell, you can see that producers spend a lot of money to make it look "expensive", but the script is poor. So not worth watching
