In this show the 'power rangers' set to be good role models and citizens and battle against monsters and space aliens looking to destroy earth. I forgot what really happens, but I remember that it is a great childrens show with no dark themes or bad influences. It teaches good morals and how evil is bad and should be eradicated. Quite simplistic and not really for adults but it was a solid show and still remains good. The dialogue can be atrocious.

The 1990s was a great decade for TV and many children who grew up in the 90s can say we had the best TV shows live action or animation it was all impressive in their own right However there is one show that in 1993 made it debut and the kids ate it up like it was the biggest thing ever and that show would be Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.I remember when I was Seven when I turn into the first episode "Day Of The Dumpster" I quickly became a fan of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. The series begin when Zordon and his assistant Alpha 5 recruited five normal teenagers to assist him in his battles with Rita Repulsa (Voiced by Barbara Goodson)These five teenagers would become known as The Power Rangers The first team were Jason The Red Ranger (Austin St.John), Kimberly The Pink Ranger (Amy Jo Johnson),Billy The Blue Ranger (David Yost),Zack The Black Ranger (Walter Jones) ) and Trini The Yellow Ranger (Thuy Trang) After "Green With Evil" Mini Series and their battle with Tommy The Green Ranger (Jason David Frank) he reforms and becomes part of the team. In season 2 after losing his powers as the Green Ranger he would later become the White RangerLater in season 2 Jason, Trini and Zack would be replace by Aisha (Karan Ashley) Adam (Johnny Yong Bosch) Rocky (Steve Cardenas) as the Yellow, Black and Red Rangers respective. Throughout the first season the Rangers would battle Rita Goldar and her monsters whenever they would turn into Giants The Rangers would call for their Zords that could combine to form the Megazord. Then later in season 2 as replace by Lord Zedd (Voiced by Robert Axelrod) When the teens are not dealing with monsters they are dealing with the bullies Bulk (Paul Schrier) and Skull (Jason Narvy). Some of my favorite episodes of the series as a kid were "Day Of The Dumpster" "Power Ranger Punks" "Foul Play in the Sky" "Green With Evil" "Gung Ho!" "Island Of Illusion" "Calamity Kimberly" "The Green Candle" "A Bad Reflection of You" "Return of a Old Friend" "Football Season" "Mighty Morphin' Mutants" "The Mutiny" "The Wanna-Be Ranger" "Bloom of Doom" "White Light" "The Wedding" "Return of the Green Ranger" "Wild West Rangers" The series best feature is the fight scenes when the Rangers took on the monsters then they form the Megazord and you know it would be a power fight and as a Kid I was looking forward to the battle with Megazord. The series mix action, comedy, drama that make it a hit with kids and it got into your emotions there were times that I got emotional at the show that I still remember how hard it hit me.It's just amazing to me how far Mighty Morphin Power Rangers rise to the top of the super hero arena in a time when Super heroes were very much the top dogs in the children department. The series just made itself a legend

"Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" has always been part of my childhood, and now looking back at it as an adult it stills hold up. It may by cheesy, but it is still a fun show to watch. Most of the action are still awesome with some awesome music and songs by Ron Wasserman. The humor is indeed funny when you have Bulk and Skull in it. The cast did what they have to do and I really do enjoy watching them. Austin St. John will always be the best Red Ranger as much as I like Steve Cardenas. Jason David Frank may be remember as the White Ranger, but he will always be the awesome Green Ranger. Johnny Yong Bosch and Walter Jones were great as the Black Ranger. Same goes to Thuy Trang (May She Rest In Peace) and Karan Ashley as the Yellow Ranger. Even Amy Jo Johnson and Catherine Sutherland as the Pink Ranger. David Yost was really good as the Blue Ranger. The villains such as Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa are really the villains that you love to hate. I do enjoy the suits that the rangers wore and the effects of course look pretty corny, but hey its the 90s and I love it! As I watch the show, I can just turn off my brain and enjoy its mindless entertainment! There are parts that don't make sense, but again it still is a fun show to watch. I love it before and I love it now! "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" is a classic show of the 90s and it is indeed MORPHINOMINAL! I give the show a 10 out of 10!

I just love this show. To me its telling us kids and teenagers that we young generations also have a responsibility to protect the world. Before I go into the my opinion, I would first like to say I am deeply sadden by all the people her who have been bashing around about the MMPR. First off,the show was meant for kids and not adults. A kid sees it differently compared to an adult so please look at it from a child's point of viewThe show introduces five teenagers Jason (a great and well respected leader, also my all time favorite ranger of all time), Kim (a good role modal for girls and in my opinion the one who should have been Jason's love interest), Zack (definition of Mr. Cool), Trini (Noble, Discipline and kind hearted) and Billy (Mr Genius of the group). This show is just Morphinorminal. The first season needs no explanation. All the fights and others moments that we got from the show was just breath taking and a great music background just made it even more entertainingJason in my opinion was the best role modal for me. I feel that he has more strength, courage and determination over the other rangers which is why he was the leader of all the other red rangers. Apart from that, unlike the other red rangers after him, he was like the only who never really got an upgrade (ok he did get the green ranger's powers from Tommy but wasn't really something that big compare to the other red rangers) but he still kicks butt even when he is in his human form All the way in the first season was great and things got more exciting when they introduced Tommy The Green Ranger. However, I never liked Tommy that much since he was always portrayed as the one to the rescuer when the other rangers had trouble but even though he might have been the savior in most of the ranger's battles, he was nothing compare to the JasonThe Zord battles were also great and I was really eager to see the Megazord once and for take out Goldar and Scorpina with his power Sword but sadly, that never happened. However, it was still great to watch though and I sometimes feel that the rangers fight Goldar and Scorpina better with the Megazord rather than on the ground Then came the introduction of the Thunderzords and until now, I still can't choose which one's better between Thunderzords and Dinozords. However, it all then slowly started to go away from me when they introduced Tommy again this time as the White Ranger (which I really, really, REALLY hated and he was not suppose to be back in the series in during the first place). However even though Zordan did say that he was the new leader, he never really looked like one when Jason was still around but in my opinion, thats where it all started to go wrong. 1st off, Red is the symbol of leadership and having another color replacing its leadership was not a good idea. An example that failed was the BettleborgsThen finally, the killer blow was delivered into the show a few episodes later. When Jason, Zack and Trini left and were replaced by Rocky, Adam and Aishya, the chemistry within the team especially when in the normal situations never really worked out with Rocky, Adam and Aishya around compared to Jason, Zack and Trini. I was really sad by this and ever since then, I've reduced my time watching the show especially when I can't seem to put up with Tommy bossing around all the time. I mean he never really had that spark as a leader compare to Jason since Jason most of the time works along with the team where Tommy on the otherhand, pphhhh just more to himself (He was just more of the showoff in my opinion) and the series buried itself deeper into the ground when they replaced Kim with Kat who didn't impress me that much Later there was the introduction of the Zeo Rangers. However it was not really that great compare to the original MMPR but when Jason came back as the Gold Ranger, the show did get better and I feel that he was the saving grace of the show there for a while. I can't say much about starting from Zeo and onwards since I was never really into the show. I rather not go into the other series further since this review is about the MMPROverall I can say that this was definitely one of my favourite shows back then (apart Kamen Rider)and being able to watch it again on youtube etc. really brought the childhood back in me. I would welcome a movie remake of the Power Rangers but a series remake? Hhhhmmm........ I'm not so sure that it will be as good as before but its worth giving a tryIT'S MORPHIN TIME!
