Riley makes the decision to head back home to Connecticut, leaving Fiona and Miller depressed. Miller breaks up with Miranda, but soon finds an old love of his-the guitar. Aggie joins the school netball team, however she has to deal with rushing to the clinic on time. Fiona is her same old self, minus Riley of course. When Aggie finds out about the new intern, she feels like she's being invaded on her home territory, but that changes when the new intern, Tom Butler arrives. He does have a love for animals, but although he claims to have vet parents, there's a bit more to him than meets the eye...

EP2 Split Feelings (2) Jun 26, 2004

At the Archers, Tom is welcomed comfortably, but Aggie gets suspicious of his upbringing. Are his parents really vets? Her suspicions are heightened when Tom sticks a thermometer in the wrong end of a dog-Aggie stops him in time. She confides in Miller, who takes matters in his own hands. He finds an article about Tom and the whole story comes out-his parents ARENT vets, he came to Australia to escape from his own parents, who don't care about him. Despite this, the Archers take him in and treat him like his own son

moonlili This show is very interesting. I love all the characters and you get too see such beautiful scenery. The actors are extremeley talented and completly believable in the roles that they portray. I enjoyed the series immensley and cannot wait too see what will happen on the next series of the show. This is not the best show that the television station noggin has ever picked up. I personally enjoyed both Being Eve and 24seven a little more. I will say for the show that it is better than Degrassi: the next generation. I think this show is way over played and takes away from shows like OUT THERE.
KSUChika I recently started getting this new channel called The-N and they show this show. I started watching it, half because I'm obsesed with Australian accents and half because there's a soft spot in my heart for teen shows. But I like the show and now I watch it every day. The characters and stories are fairly realistic to teen life, and they're very likable. Of course, the acting isn't exactly Oscar, Emmy, or Golden Globe worthy, but it just a teen show, and it doesn't exactly have to be. Someone posted on here that it's a bad show for kids to be watching because it(along with Boy Meets World & Even Stevens) causes/promotes teen pregnancy & divorce. How is that? I watch Even Stevens, too...it's an excellent show and not at all a disgrace to Walt Disney(like this person said in their post). People barely even kiss on Even Stevens. Ren has her typical teen girl crushes on the cute boys in school and Louis has a crush on Tawny. Much like in Out There, when Reilly has a cruch on Fiona and Miller has a crush on Aggie I Boy Meets World, Tapanga & Cory were in love their entire life and got married...and they never got pregnant, and it appeared that they never had sex until their wedding night. As for Reilly calling girls chicks....show a teenage boy who has NEVER called a girl a chick...AT LEAST ONCE...and I'll like, be your slave for life. It's what boys do...it's no surprise. Anyway, this is a good teen show, and see in no way how it causes teen pregnancy or divorce. It's a very cute show. I'm just said it's ending already!:( lol Great show! You should check it out if you can!
reality_bites77 The acting isn't too great, but the plot is interesting. The stories aren't always, but it has potential. I saw the pilot one nite when I was up late and since then I've been watching when I catch it on.I'm trying to figure out what the poster vze58 means saying that shows like "Out There", "Even Stevens" and "Boy Meets World" are the reasons for teen pregnancies, single-parent children and divorce. The divorce just makes no sense to me. I think these shows are much too innocent and unrealistic in dealing w/ sex and I can't imagine they encourage teen sex. Would you rather young children watch Dawson's Creek and other teen shows where sex is seen as no big deal. THAT is what causes teen pregnancies and single parents. I just don't understand that poster's reasoning. Anyhow, from the episodes of "Out There" I've seen the characters have only dealt w/ crushes, not sex, so I don't see how it's bad for kids to watch. The lead actor of the show (Riley) does sometimes refer to girls as chicks and always has this little smile on his face during those interviews for like no reason. Other than that he doesn't bother me.
lifehousequeen I loved it. The acting is wonderful. Reily (Doug Smith) is great, he portrays a very convincing "Thrown into the middle of nowhere city kid". Though Mr. Smith is a talented actor, I have to say that Richard Wilson is my favourite. His charector reminds me of one of my good friends (that might have something to do with the attatchment). Very talented. Very Hot as well! :). Jade Ewan is beautiful! Even in a interview, Doug Smith admits that he just a wee bit of a crush on her. She has a promising future ahead of her. I give it a 8 out of 10.thanx!! the dani
