I absolutely loved series 1-6. I couldn't stop watching. I think I must have watched them all in less than a month. It took me to a land far away, and into that little fantasy world that's not reality world. BUT. I'm sad to say that series 7 is such a disappointment. I'm only on episode 6, and instead of watching it I'm writing this review. I wish I was one of these people that can give up and didn't have to watch the entire series of programmes. I'm going to pretend, after watching series 7, that they all lived happily ever after, after series 6.

Once Upon A Time
"And they lived happily ever after"
This is what we learn from our fairy tales, and we learn it at our peril. As we grow, we see its folly: We pay bills and go to the dentist. We struggle. We die. This is no fairy tale, this life of ours, no ending. Once Upon a Time tells a story of a new world, one in which fairy-tales legends and modern life collide.
In this television series we see Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) who plays as the lead character of this television series. She is comfortable in her life as a bail bonds collector when Henry Mills (Jared Gilmore) the child she gave up suddenly shows up. He is convinced that she is the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming, who sent her away before the Evil Queen could cast a spell, freezing the fairytale world in time and bringing them to present-day Storybrooke, Maine. Emma Swan is based on the so-called character of the fairy tale "The Ugly Duckling". I am quoting words that Emma said to Henry that means a lot to me 'Well, I am not sure that it is me, but, um but it is who I want to be'. This showed me that people can do anything as long as they believe and never stop trying.
The structure that the writers (Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz) used to show when the episode had changed from modern time to the time the characters had lived in the enchanted forest is astonishing. We can see it when the characters clothing changed because in Storybrooke characters wear modern clothing and in the past the characters wear clothing of that time. This can be seen by the Evil Queen who mostly wears clothes with a feather collar and jewels everywhere, a classic "Evil Queen" look. We can also see it with Rumpelstiltskin's leather coat. It is heavily worn and crafted to give him a very animal-like appearance.
The event that I really liked in this television series is when the Evil Queen pushed her mother through the looking-glass, sending her to Wonderland. Ironically, the Evil Queen discovered that she enjoys using magic becomes just like her mother. Regina learns dark magic from Rumplestiltskin and eventually embraces her dark side. In this event it showed me that you should never push someone away that want you to be the same as them because if you do you will be just like that person at the end of the day. All that hard work for not being the same as that person will mean nothing any more. That is why people should always be around others who will love them for who they are and not the person who they want them to be.
This television series is recommended for people who like fantasy and drama. This television series can also be for people who likes living in their character's body and feeling every emotion and decision they have to make in the series, as well as feeling all their pain. This television series is honestly amazing. This series can teach you more about yourself than any other movie or series ever will. This series has helped me personally with problems and thing I never thought a series can do. It showed me that the only way to live in the world is always be a positive person and even if the world does get you down.
'Once Upon A Time' might be seen as just a fantasy, adventure, drama and mixed fairy tales but it is not. This series has so much 'power' to change you physically and emotionally. After you have watched all six seasons you will be a different person and you will feel happier and more adventures. Start watching this incredible series and see how you start to change.

I've loved this show for years! When they changed it up for season 7, it took me a few episodes to get into it again but now I think it was a good move and opened it up to more stories. I'm gutted they've cancelled it :(

They had a good idea, about a town when everyone is a character from a story. They could have made it interesting, when you see how the classic stories related and impact each other. meeting colorful people and creative plots. Getting in new adventures. but NO. They made the show such a cliche. Every episode is just the background of a story and the background of the character. that's all. Episodes are unrelated. The idea is good, but the WAY they made it- uninteresting, cliche and pointless episodes - this is why TV nowadays sucks. (they made same mistake with "Cougar Town").
