Clever, quirky, mischievous writing. Kargman is a genius. But I skipped forward to all her scenes with Andy Buckley. I loved that portrayal of a marriage - the humor and the rapport. Buckley is totally adorable and should be a much bigger star. He should be getting James Garner type roles.

So basically it's about an upper class mum. Stressed out at not being as rich as the other upper class mums. THAT IS LITERALLY THE CONCEPT. It doesn't have enough laughs to make it worth while, and it just owns up to its xenophobia without giving a s**t. It's disgustingly offensive and tries to humanise and make you root for a woman who is just living through 100% first world problems

Add this to the growing list of female-driven comedies that turn the male-oriented world upside-down! Jill Kargman has made it possible to relate to a society that is far beyond my own reach (I make less than $10,000 a year so I have zero exposure to the life she exposes on the show). She pokes fun at the privileged (and usually spoiled) without mercy even though she herself is somewhat part of that circle. The writing is witty and incredibly funny. I'm shocked that this is her only acting credit as it's obvious that she knows acting like she's done it her whole life. I'm really interested to know whether or not she's been in Broadway productions or something because she's obviously honed her skill SOMEWHERE.My favorite scene so far is where she helps a "friend" with a delivery. I was stunned at how raw and funny the whole scene was. I couldn't catch my breath because I was laughing so hard! And I actually learned something about giving birth I never would have imagined! LOL Aside from the brilliant Jill Kargman there is a stellar cast of well-known and not so well-known actors and actresses, who have also get to have their own funny moments in the series. Well done, Jill!

Well, that's a nice surprise. I only saw the pilot but this seems like a good comedy. Lots of pluses not any actual minus.First of all, I prefer comedies that lack the awful fake laugh track (just wrote a review for another new comedy that has it). Odd Mom Out hasn't got one so that's something I endorse. It's about the lives of some ultra-wealthy wives and moms, who live in Upper East Side New York. What they have in money they lack in other areas, so the series presents them more like caricatures. You know lacquered socialites, that only know about fashion and nose-jobs and charities. Women who think that are better because of their ...husbands wealth. It sets up nicely so far with the introduction of another female character who is actually an ER doctor, to give some contrast. The humor seems good. Witty and refreshing and satirical. And I'm starting to give credit to the direction too.Jill Kargman plays a version of herself as I'm reading. She is OK to her role, so far.Overall: Seems good. I'll keep watching.
