Wow! The pompous reviews on this site are out of control. Shouldn't you folks be in a line up for some movie festival for hours boring the person beside you with your directorial insight, its a TV show people, good grief. If you like science fiction and can let your mind relax and stop looking for flaws every second this is actually a very enjoyable series. Comparisons of a TV show to the movie are ridiculous when considering budgets and 45 mins plots. Production effects, camera work, show a lot of talent setting the mood. Special effects bringing you into a near future is believable. The characters are well formulated by the actors and you can tell they are very comfortable with each other, being on this shoot must be a lotta fun. Yes its a detective show in its roots (but so was the movie folks), and yes the character interactions are a little too pre-formulated, but again, go with it. Its not often networks put decent science fiction out there, I'm grabbing my popcorn ..

I didn't see the movie- maybe that's the difference here. Again, this does contain spoilers.I remember watching Nick Zano on "What I Like About You" & I didn't think he was a very good actor back then so I wasn't thrilled to see him on this. He's not great but he got better. The woman who plays Vega though, (I think her name's Megan but I can't remember) she's bad. She isn't very likable but I guess she's not going to be smiling & happy when all she's trying to stop a murder. Her Father was killed on the job- that probably doesn't help.I can see how people wouldn't have liked it if they just watched an episode or two. It started off very slow. When they just had one of the pre-cogs (Dash) & Vega trying to stop these murders from happening, it was familiar & a little boring. As time went on though, we've gotten to see the other pre-cogs (Agatha & Arthur) get involved in the story & a little bit of their lives right after pre-crime stopped. One of Vega's superiors has noticed her great arrest record & is curious about it. The story has gotten better. If you've stopped watching, you should give it another try. (If you can get past the bad acting.)

I gave it my best shot. I really liked the movie and I was at first intrigued by the possibility of a series. I thought I could grow used to the direction the series was taking with the freedom of the cogs. Being a tech person, I also liked the future technology. After 4 episodes, I couldn't see the plot holding my interest. The acting is mediocre at best. I also think they are cramming "diversity" down or throats by having the four lead characters being African American, Asian, Hispanic and Caucasian. I still thought I could get used to the story lines and grow accustomed to the characters until they slapped a duffel bag full of money in front of us with Obama's face on it. That was overboard. I don't plan on continuing watching it.

The show had such potential, but ruined with a few critical factors. I highly doubt it will be renewed, unless they make some serious changes. While the CGI effects are nice, the scripts are just okay, but most importantly - the show is POORLY cast. The main actress, Meagan Good, is difficult to stand, or to look at, for an entire hour. She suffers from severe "reșṯïng-bïṯch" face. That șour-půșs she touts around screams of perpetual disgust, or ingrain hatred, as if someone dumped a huge steaming pile-of-șhïṯ on her face right before each scene. Hardly the projected attitude you'd expect from a nobody actress clearly desperate to polish her plethora of talentless shows on her resume. Cast her in something more down her alley, like: Empire, Orange Is the New Black, or Scream Queens. If Minority Report is to continue, and be successful, replace her immediately . . .
