I really liked while binge watching "Parks and Recreation". Love his character... and also in this show. To me sometimes mild humor is better than over the top antics or slap stick. I like that this show has a indie type fells to it... No pun intended. What i mean is that it doesn't feel Hollywood'ish or like a "Friends" sitcom. Don't get me wrong, I loved friends, but it worked for that show. Also loved Park and Recreation which was pretty much like The Office, both full of antics and slap stick. But I also love when a show has a different vibe that still works."Master of None" feels warm and believable. I agree with user "jonathan-kj-2010" when he said "I will definitely say that the cast is spot on, every character feel believable"All this said with just 5 shows into Season 1. Yes, I'm already hooked!Cheers.

I don't know how many reviews I've written on iMDb, but pretty sure it's less than five. I love this series so much, I had to pause it to write this review.I love Aziz Ansari's comedy, but wasn't sure I'd like a series with him. I was bored, trolling Netflix for something to watch, read it had won some awards, and went for it. Man, am I glad. It's not laugh-out-loud hilarious, it's 'I can relate' soft chuckle material. It's 'wow- that's so true' funny. It's heartwarming, it's sweet, it addresses real-life issues in today's world. It's mellow, it's calm, it's relaxing, with just enough stressful situations to keep you interested. I love it.

On Netflix I swiped happily past Master of None a number of times to be honest; maybe even more than I'd care to admit. I ran out of shows to watch, so I sat down and began a tour of love, anger, and despair like no other thing I've witnessed the last couple of years. The show centers around Dev (Aziz Ansari) who's a celebrity actor with a severe case of minuscule 'c'. The show throws you directly into Dev's love life, and makes you feel every emotion that he goes through, as the normally energetic and happy Dev meets the obstacles of a struggling actor, a uncertain love life, and the everyday problems of family and friends. The show and the themes of the show are so relatable that it almost hurts to watch it at times. Especially the themes of family in the first season and an unapologetic, uncertain love in the second season.I was hooked from the first episode, as the show seemed a bit quirky, but original. After watching the entirety of the first season I indulged myself with the second season, which is a masterpiece. Aziz Ansari and Alessandra Mastronardi are both amazing throughout the second season and their chemistry is uncanny. To sum it all up is 'Master of None' a masterpiece unlike no other show. Never has a show made me cry and laugh as much whilst staying as original, beautiful and raw. A wholehearted recommendation from a happy binge- watcher.

I had read the impressive reviews on Master Of None, so I was very interested watching this. It was supposed to be something of a New Era where old comic laws are no longer valid. But seriously, I was actually shocked by how many jokes were based on so called "culture and race" differences on Indians versus whites. So that with Aziz (purposely?) speaking with heavy Indian accent I really didn't get the point. I found it embarrassing. Next to this the plots were really nothing special.
