I remember when this show aired on TV, I used to watch everyday coming back from church religiously. Like it became a tradition and my parents would watch it with me sometimes. As a female, I loved Kahlan. However, I liked Cara's fierceness. Things the others would be afraid to do, she was be brazen and do it. Interesting how she used to work for the enemy and then came on their side. Sad how she was ripped away from her parents and forced to be a Mord'Sith. I never understood Lord Rahl's desire for Kahlan. Idk whether it's just wanting a Confessor son. It's so bizarre. Ahh, I miss this show. Haven't watched it in years. Although, I'm start the entire series now.

I'm a great fan of the book and I could not believe my eyes when I saw the TV series. I admit - I could not watch more than half of the first and a few minutes of the second one. My wife is also a fan of the books , she watched the whole series and said that MAYBE she could've liked the series if she hadn't read the book - the series were OK, but have nothing in common with the impression the books makes. So make your choice - either read the book, or watch the series. doing both leaves a bitter taste in your mouth. For a long time. Ten lines of text in order to post the review - OK I'll add what I think of the actor who plays Richard - the first thing I thought when I saw him was "What? Such a tiny and gentle Richard wouldn't last a minute in the book.". There is nothing masculine about him, he just looks funny.

As a fan of the book series for almost 20 years, I despised everything about this series. I couldn't even make it through the first episode. The acting is horrible, and characters that don't even exist in the series are in the television show. They couldn't even get the first 5 minutes of the show right. I have lost all respect for Sam Raimi and have refused to ever watch anything he has done since this. I could go on and on for ages about the discrepancies of the show and the books, but it would be a waste of time. I sometimes wonder if the people who put this show together even read the books. This show is a travesty to all Terry Goodkind readers across the globe. This show is what happens when people who have no passion for the business create a disgusting pile of crap out of something beautiful. I am glad the show got canceled, and to all you "Save our Seeker" advocates, you're all morons.

This is by far the best fantasy/medieval TV series for me. I hope that they will make Seasons 3, 4 and 5 and even more. I just finished watching season 1 and season 2 and they were all fantastic. Now I'm going to start reading the novel series "Sword of Truth" although I am not a fan of reading. I have no choice but to read them because the series was canceled. I've seen a lot of fan sites that encourages fans to vote for this series to be revived and I hope that ABC/Disney will listen to what the fans would want to happen. I'm also hoping that if they revive the series, I would still like the same actors/actresses for Richard, Kahlan, Zed and Cara.
