Reviews

artimis_entreri First of all reading the reviews i have to say this. Snowflakes this show is not for you. The show although makes fun of liberal America also brings them to life. Even if the show makes fun of the left. It also brings the fight into primetime. They spotlight the characters without disrespecting them or their views. Following that despite differences called can get along and coexist
XxXNikkiXx I am late to this show, as it was only shown in its entirety in the U.K. once it had finished airing. Having watched, and enjoyed Home Improvements, I thought a twist on the old might be a good idea. Once I got past the change of actors from seasons 1 to 2, the storylines did tend to follow a pattern, with Ryan being the whingeing antagonist, Mandy being the self centred dumb character, Eve playing the boy who never was, and Kirsten portraying the bad girl of the family, there are only so many twists and turns you can have. Good for a laugh, Tim Allen's political views shine through in a large percent of the episodes, which can prove tiresome.
miguelhutten-17506 I´m usually on the liberal side, but I must say I´m a bit disappointed with all the comments criticizing the politics in the show. Many sitcoms feature politics in them, most of them are liberal in nature and no one on the left complains about too much politics then, but once they express an opinion contrary to yours you complain, which is one of the things I tend to disagree on with liberals today. All in all it's a very funny show which, yes is quite a bit political at times and is mostly conservative but also has liberal characters. while I disagree with Tim's character´s political views I really enjoy the comedy and it is refreshing to see points of view different to my own. It took me about a season to get used to the character changes they made and the first season and the first half of the second are a bit weak but it pics up from there. It´s a fresh take and not the typical recycling of jokes seen in many sitcoms today. I love Two and a half men, How I met your mother, Big Bang Theory and other shows the feature a more liberal type of comedy but it´s nice to balance it with different points of view(that way your brain won´t atrophy) just as one should do with the news. Great show, very recommendable for both conservatives and liberals. Sad to see it end.
geraldlandry The INTOLERANT LIBERALS in Hollywood literally HATE anything that even has the appearance of Conservatism! They scream that they want/expect "tolerance" from the Right, yet they PROVE TIME & TIME AGAIN how INTOLERANT THEY THEMSELVES TRULY ARE! I'd LOVE to see Fox pick up the show and DROP "SHAZAM." Jamie Foxx once introduced Obama as "our Lord & Savior," which many Christians took immediate & deep offense to. Jamie Foxx is CLEARLY A RACIST & PROPAGANDIST! Hopefully, that TRASH of a comedy "Modern Family" will soon be canceled in order to either get some "wholesome" programming in its place!
