Reviews

topher-57233 WARNING ¬ The CULT OF SCIENTOLOGY has their members writing bad reviews of Leah Remini's performance as a way of REVENGE for her leaving their CULT, while the show itself is not that great Remini's addition to the cast is a great improvement in what is otherwise a very average comedy.. But whatever your opinion of the show is just remember the negative criticism of Leah Remini's performance is all part of the CULT OF SCIENTOLOGY'S smear campaign against Remini for leaving the CULT, PLEASE keep that in mind when reading the reviews of season 2.or any negative reviews of Leah Remini's work on any project she is involved with. Please educate yourself on the evils of the CULT OF SCIENTOLOGY by going to youtube and watch one of the many damming doco's on the CULT OF SCIENTOLOGY and if you know anyone involved in it help them get out ASAP.
deduijk I rarely decide to stop watching a show when a huge plot twist occurs, although i do find out why most of the time.. (was the actor/actress no longer available? Did something happen? Any other news why it was the right choice..if i feel the twist is too sudden/strange? etc.)But killing of a character the show definitely needs and doing it in such a sudden and crude manner, changing the premise of the show was a major let down. Then i find out Leah Remini comes back (loved in KoQ) It's very painful to say: but man that did not go well at all. The episode where she appeared in season 1 was painful to watch and not just for the acting.. i couldn't stop looking at that botoxed, lip injected face.. (She can say a 1000 times they are hers, but a simple comparison turns up..: nope). Even if it was, the botoxed face makes the whole face look unnatural, certainly not helping reading emotions (if there are any).Sorry, but PLEASE stop using that stuff and get a normal looking face back. I just can't look at this face. You can even say she has trouble herself getting her lips over her teeth in a normal fashion. In trying to make herself look younger i feel she totally screwed up. rather see a few wrinkles then this weird unnatural face.Still deciding if i should continue watching season 2 at some point.. , but for now i turned it off a few minutes into episode S02e01 and it's probably gonna rest for a while.Sorry for the rest of the cast.. Some characters didn't get enough air-time to establish a strong performance. Loved Taylor, Ryan, Erin and the interactions with Kevin. Special mentions go out to Bas,Leonard.--- Maybe the producers wanted to make a new KoQ 2 from S02 on, so many shows are restarted nowadays. But not all of those work. This one i can't tell yet, because i can't get past Leah at the moment as well as the huge shift i see happens.
heiko-stauber Loved king of queens. But this is insulting to every sitcom fan. Canned laughter after every sentence( like in two broke girls) ! Just watch koq again. Or.... watch friends again .... or modern family, new girl, my name is earl or any other show where YOU can decide when you have to laugh.
schwanita Liked Season 1.Erinn Hayes played a down to earth regular women which I liked. Now Leah Remini is playing this private investigator who always is perfectly styled. I got bored watching those two. Season 1 was refreshing but now it just bores me out of my mind. Stopped watching after 3 episodes. Too bad. Could have been a good show.
