bcarlo I really enjoy this show. The first few episodes, although slow, were enough to draw me in and hold my interest through the first three seasons. I haven't seen the newest season yet but if it's as good as the previous three I'll definitely be into this for the long haul. Let me put it this way, today was my day off from work and I spent the whole day (I'm talking 11 am to midnight) binge watching episode after episode. The cast is funny and believable (as much as they can be in a show as strange as this) and the storylines work well. I like to think of this show as a cross between Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Psyche. Without spoiling anything it's a crime drama with a zombie twist. If you're looking for a show with Romero style shamblers and a lot of gunplay I'd suggest going with something more in the vein of The Walking Dead or Z Nation. If you like zombies and don't have a problem with eschewing established zombie tropes with a smattering of whodunnit this show is for you. Hope this review helps influence your decision. It's totally worth a watch.
chisao The first season of this is a bit weird takes a bit of time to get going it kinda starts out like its a serious crime show but finds it's self as we go into season2.There's a million and 1 serious zombie movies/shows i roll my eyes like the old vampire days but as we come into season2 the show really finds its self a bit of comedy. It is to walking dead as shaun of the dead is to dawn of the dead. Our main character Liv does an orphan black stylee of acting as many different characters why'll still being herself.David Anders as Blain makes an excellent villian, Rose is fun and refreshing to watch. As serious as Major and Clive are the more serious characters they're comedy timing is excellent especially when interacting with the show stealer Rahul Kohli as Dr. Ravi.I really recommend this show tho it does play at as a bit of a comedy it has a solid plot running through it and after the first season which has a lot of filler episodes that dont really advance the plot, that hardly happens in the seasons to follow.
benspiros-49264 Great show nice positive cop show with zombies helping out for a change. Not ur usual but the best of both.
knkurtz This show has a unique spin to the zombie storyline. When a zombie eats brains, they get visions from the brain they ate. The show is witty and very funny, with puns galore. I recommend you give it a whirl! It's not some deep, psychological zombie show where he thought of human survival reigns, but you'll enjoy it regardless.
