Ice Lake Rebels was an enjoyable show. Showing people going after their daily life 'off the grid' on Canada's Great Slave Lake. Only that they don't live as far off the grid as it might seem. Go to google maps, search for Yellowknife, NT, Canada and you can clearly see the houseboats lying there, just a few hundred feet away from the city. Off course life on the lake is still very challenging, but help and resources aren't as far away as the show wants you to believe.

I really liked this show. I hate the cold but this show was so interesting I would volunteer to do a season or the awesome experience. Animal Planet HAD great shows that air 1 or 2 seasons and then cancel. This show was on of the best. I was looking forward to season 3. Now, AP has nothing interesting.

This is a great show. It help the ever growing people going off grid communities (especially for those who live on yachts). As the off grid lifestyle continues to gain momentum I truly hope more of these types of shows come out as its always better than the YouTube ones. This show has driven me to purchase a 26 ft yacht and live the off grid life exploring the world and enjoying nature in all its glory.

I love this show. You learn so many ways to do stuff and how to survive in the cold. This is a way of life I think my husband and I would love. I know it takes a tough person to live like this. Please don't take the show off the air. I cant even find reruns and I hate that. I would like to know more about the people on the show. Did Stephan and Alyce ever have a child? I think it is wonderful to be able to survive in such harsh situations as these people go through. I don't see how they ever find enough food with everybody hunting on the same island. It would be hard for me eat as much fish as they do as that is not my favorite food. Please bring it back for 2016.
