About Hit the floor: My sister and I watch a lot of series on the internet, but this is definitely one of the best series ever made. So much fun to watch. Lots of drama, comedy, romance and great dancing! Great cast as well. They all have great energy together. Season 3 was so exciting I had to watch the whole season in 1 day! Almost :)The actors can dance for a change / the dancers can act for a change. You can see they all have great technique. That for me is also important. Can't wait for season 4. I hope there also will be a season 5, 6, ... I would even vote 11 out of 10.

Love this show. The entire series is fantastic so far.Every single actor and actress is amazing. Overall great show I would go higher then a ten if I could. The writing is genius. I am kept at the edge of my seat for the entire show and I can never guess whats going to happen next. absolutely brilliant show. #Amazing #Awesome #totsamazballsIn last week's episode titled "Carrying," Sloane was arrested for the death of Olivia. Her arrest was made after she once said that she hated Olivia. Episode 7 also depicted the end of German and Ahsha's troubled relationship. He finally found out that his girlfriend still harbours feelings for her ex, and let her go. These relationship problems resounded in Jelena and Terrence's hassle free relationship. Jelena (Logan Browning) found that her fiancé was soon going to be a father to an unborn kid. This threw her off guard and she suggested that they do a test to confirm if the baby is indeed Terrence's. #can't wait

Remember Hellcats? Ever wish that it would cut the amount of cheese and angst in half and just have a relevant storyline? Hit The Floor is VH1's attempt at getting Hellcats right. A lot of the cheese is cut through. So far, we don't have any characters trying to get a grip on God vs Evolution. The main protagonist is black, her mom is black, the evil bitch cheerleader (because there has to be one) is also black, as are the two guys involved in the burgeoning love triangle... but I don't think it falls into the "black show" category. There's enough white/ latino/ non-black people included in key roles to make it not a "black show". Or at least, it's a "black, but not exclusively black, show". It's on VH1, not BET.Also: it's not done by Tyler Perry; stars Dean Cain; has a good enough number of whodunnit subplots running through it to make it quasi-mysterious, like a ABC Family show dialed way down; good music and actual dancing by people who can dance. Not to say that they hired dancers and gave them an "acting for dummies" crash course - the acting mightn't be top notch from everyone all the time, but it's not jarring, and no way near as cringe-worthy as anything on CW. It's at a Friday Night Lights level. All the characters, from the foolishly naive protagonist, to the fallen from grace single mom, to the HBIC, to the country girl hooker/stripper, to the clingy-ish poverty-riddled boyfriend - they're all tolerable. No one crosses over too far into "unlikeable" territory, and no one spends too much time there as to become hateful. Honestly, I'm most invested in the Country Stripper who's a self proclaimed unashamed gold-digger - she's just awesome. It's not Breaking Bad or The Borgias, but it's not trying to be. Definitely in the guilty pleasure category, but it's entertaining. Bottom line - it's entertaining! In a new age soap opera, rnb/country/dubstep professional Tiny/Private Dancer kinda way. With good music featuring a diverse lot of people who are easy on the eyes. And there's Dean Cain. No Van Der Beek, but, lol, Dean Cain people! How can you not give this a chance? The only thing missing maybe is the actual basketball... We don't get a lot of that. I don't think they've even shown a game. Or five minutes of a game. But as I'm not into basketball, at all, that doesn't detract much.

So I watch another program on VH1 and I saw the adverts for this show. Being a straight guy, I figure the show would be tailored made for me, hot chicks wearing skimpy outfits dancing to a good grove. I couldn't be more wrong. The chicks are hot, but the writing, acting. music and directing is so atrocious that it inspired me to read, go hiking, count the imperfections in my ceiling.. anything but watch this show. The characters are cookie cutter characters... the new and kind girl who wants to be friends with everyone. The head evil cheerleader who is extremely mean spirited. Throw in the love interest, the basketball player who LITERALLY gets run into by accident by the new girl. And throw in the most unlikely person to play a coach of a head basketball team, Dean Cain (Lois & Clark). How this show ever get green-lit it is beyond me but it is a complete garbage of a show. The tryouts, the dancing tryouts? Uninspiring. Completely horrible. It as if this show has no one coordinating as they "actresses" (use very loosely) basically spin and hop like a chicken with it's head cut off that ran into an electrified fence! Then the worse of worse... line delivery... I am not even remotely an expert but I know bad when i hear it and it doesn't even measure up as "good" as bad. In the end, here is a show about cheer leading tryouts in the NBA, and a cheer squad, in a sunny location, with hot women in revealing outfits, throw in a relative hip hop beat, and it is the most boring thing on TV. Enough to stop me watching the moment that the cheerleader ran into the NBA player... (and the NBA player.. just some random black guy they probably grab from a local Olive Garden or Applebee's). And by the Power of my remote control, I have vanquished thee from my television.
