I only recently found Hart of Dixie on Netflix, not knowing when it actually aired I looked it up to find out it was back in 2015 when it stopped airing. This show made me feel like I had an extended family that I was watching, one that didn't make you feel bad after watching it. Not many shows any more can do that, really do that, and leave you with a good feeling after watching it. With not many shows anymore that are family oriented, that a person can feel like they are part of, and that you dont feel bad after watching, it would be great if it would be reunited and brought back. It could follow the main characters and their married lives and kids growing up.
I have searched online for other shows to watch that are supposed to be similiar to Hart of Dixie, but none have come close. With that many sites trying to find other shows similiar to Hart if Dixie, and so many reviews out there stating people wish it would not have stopped airing, I do not see how now the needed quantity of reviews would be a problem in bringing it back. I believe it would be a great decision all the way around.

If rated this show a 4 for this reason:Season #1: 7
Season #2: 5
Season #3: 3
Season #4: 2The premise is pretty good. A talented young surgeon heads to a small town to take over her father's practice in order to improve her bed side manner and patient empathy......It holds up pretty well the first season and a half, then the plot pretty much degrades into who is dating who and who is sleeping with who. The doctor stuff is just a sideshow.By season #3 this becomes a roller coaster ride of people having the same relationships on and off and off and on. Not much plot other than that.I'll give this show credit, they managed to "jump the shark" twice and do it quickly. Shark jumping number one is Cricket suddenly coming out as gay.....completely unbelievable and adds nothing to the plot. It was as if some writer woke up one day and said "we don't have a gay character"Shark jumping #2 is Zoey being pregnant.....I realize the actress was real life pregnant so there wasn't much they could do. By then the show was sunk anyway.Wish it would have stayed the course and concentrated more on the doctor plot, but it pretty much just becomes a light-hearted soap opera.

The entertainment value is good, but seriously people, we aren't in the 1960's anymore, nor are we in Savannah, GA. Get the accent right...just the opinion of one real, live Bama girl.I was born and raised in the heart of Alabama, literally, the heart of Dixie. The only time I hear an over-pronounced accent like that is in the very unreal movies or in footage from the days of Martin Luther King, Jr.I truly like the story line of the show, but I have a hard time listening to the actors speak. And this is coming from one of the key viewers for this kind of show, a young woman in the South. I can only imagine what other southern women think. So, Hollywood, or wherever this studio calls home, please spend more time on speech (like you did with Jean Smart), or hire some actors from the actual South. I know they exist...Morgan Freeman, Julia Roberts, Matthew McConaughey, and Reese Witherspoon, just to name a few.

I miss this show so much!!! I loved it so much that I literally felt like I lived there. Their lives were my lives. I related a lot to the characters because I'm from a small town in the south, and it makes me "feel at home" when I watch it. Also, I wish that my town was like Bluebell. They all come together as a family when needed most, and I wish I lived some where like that. I really, really wish they would do a season 5 so that I could find out what happens with Wade & Zoe's baby, Lavon & Lemons relationship, & what happens with George & Annabeth!! Please bring it back! I think that they're a lot of people who would love to see it come back! I first found out about Hart of Dixie while scanning through Netflix , and I was immediately hooked. I binge watched the first 3 seasons, and then it came down to season 4 and it wasn't on there. I searched high and low to find it, and finally found most of it on the CW's app. Please, please bring it back! Love -a dedicated fan of The Hart of Dixie!
