I just seen a video on YouTube, by Michael Hedges, it clearly shows some guy came in with a lot of baseball cards, including Mickey Mantel, and after Seth takes it in the back away from the customer then comes back, it is clearly gone. Seth is a daytime robber, a thug, a real piece of you doggy turd. I have watched numerous episodes over the years, I will not watch another Hardcore Pawn because of that hardcore thief Seth. I will continue to watch Impractical Jokers and Carbonaro Effect, at least until Seth Gold tries to steal em. That guy who brought in the baseball cards should see the video and have Seth Gold arrested for felony theft.

I saw this show for the first time today and it was so terrible I made an account just to rate it 1/10. This show should be taken off TRUtv right away it is a blemish on the already crummy channel. The show doesn't even really focus on the items brought into the store like Pawn Stars does. Instead it focuses on stupid staged fights between the three main characters and the customers. To me this show really doesn't have anything to offer to the viewer in terms of entertainment, the whole show is very blatantly staged . I really wish this show is taken off the air due to the fact that it is overall just a very poor representation of TRUtv and the city of Detroit, yes Detroit is a very troubled city but when you make a show like this you really aren't helping its case when you show a bunch of white trash idiots having staged fights with their primarily black customer base. Overall this show is no doubt a 1/10 and I don't recommend you support this show by watching it even in the slightest.

I use to watch the show and try to ignore Ashley. I can't watch anymore, that woman is way too snippy, I don't even like hearing her voice anymore. It would be a good show if she were to retire. How nasty she is to her father, brother, co--workers and customers ruins the show. Her constant picking at of her brother sickening is sickening. She's trying to be noticed so bad as "hard core" its a such a turn off. I don't watch anymore. The father and Seth are entertaining, so are most of the customers but not entertaining enough to have to listen to Ashley's big mouth. Does she have anything to think about but pick on Seth. Very immature and obviously going way over board with the nasty voice and attitude.

I've seen a lot of reviews saying people were expecting something similar to Pawn Stars. This is TruTV everybody. Their slogan is "TruTV: Not Reality, Actuality." A.K.A. the shows are as fake as can be. This show is so cheesy, anyone that thinks they are so bright to have uncovered the horrific truth that the show is staged, is an absolute moron. Of course it's staged. There are, however, some instances when there is some genuine emotion involved, but those are few and far between. Other than that, there is probably 10 minutes of legitimate reality TV per season on this show.I am from the Detroit area originally and took my fiancée there because we watch the show. I saw them do a second take with a customer. That's right, a second take on a ''reality'' TV show. So before you give this show an honest rating... know that it is FAKE (Oh and that's the "Spolier alert" --- big shocker, I know). Now, if you can get past the fact that it's fake... this show is pretty hilarious. The employees attempting to act is an absolute train wreck. The story lines the producers have come up with to keep the family feuding are so pathetic that you can't turn away. The absurd things the ''customers'' will do are so dumb you can't help but laugh. I'm not laughing with the show, I'm laughing at the show. Their attempts at making it 100% realistic are pathetic yet amazingly pathetic. So yes, I agree the actual show itself is awful, but that's what makes it awesome. I gave it a 7 because it still makes me laugh and tune in, regardless of why I'm doing it.
