fordjessica This has to be one of the most outrages funny show on TV ever. I mean it couldn't be funnier. The story line about Marcy never having an orgasm was so funny and Quentin's herpes. It's such a shame that they cancelled it. I think the Spellings were offended. They had the best guest stars, Kristen Davis, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Elizabeth Berkeley, Jason Priestly as the guy sex addicted anonymous. I loved Hunter, she was just a brilliant actress, and she used it. Great show, if you ever get the chance check it out.
sakhil I think the main thing to keep in mind here is that this show is a satire of the schlock aimed at the self-esteem-lacking teen market. That's what makes it a very smart series. That, and the fact that it is made by someone who obviously knows the genre inside out, adds value. Is it true that Mr Spelling tried to have this taken off the air because he was worried that bits of it were [allegedly] aimed at a certain cleavage-challenged teen queen? Shame! They deserve to have the fun poked out of them at every opportunity, I think. To quote a line from the last episode I saw, they can all "go home and cry into their big bags of money".
frenzy-10 This tv show is gold. It is the best (and I mean the best) t.v. show on right now. Since I mm from latin america the season finale was on just days ago, and I am not sure if it is going to be on next season. I just ant to say: How many good revews and how many bad have you read? there is only one that says it's not good, everyone else think that this tv show is the best. It became my favorite since the pilot episode. The show has low ratings because its on sunday night. Who watches tv on sunday anyway? Put it on another day, and there is no doubt it will become the highest ratde show ever. I like it because it's fun and it makes me laugh, and I was just hooked after the pilot. I only tune in once a week to watch two shows, FRIENDS, and GROSSE POINTE, and I like grosse pointe better. I'm keeping my fingers crossed to see this show next season. Congratulations!!!! Darren Star, Irene Molly, Al Santos, Lindsay Sloane, Bonnie Somerville, Kohl Sudduth, Kyle Howard, Nat Faxon and William Ragsdale!!! This show rocks, and even if I don't see you next season, I will always remember my favorite show, But I sure hope you're on next season, and next 10 seasons if it's possible!
JThomas-2 I am 38 years old who truly has hated all the old teeny bopper soap operas that have been on TV for too long - so a show that pokes fun at them is right up my alley! Grosse Pointe really knows how to stick it to the powers that be with this show. The show within a show idea and having older actors playing teenagers is really hilarious - plus - talk about eye candy! That these people can walk and talk at the same time is a miracle! The women are just too pretty and the men are just too buff. The dialogue is great and the delivery is appropriately wacky and often deadpan. You've just got to see this show to appreciate it!Please do not cancel this show!!!!! This is one of the brightest spots in an otherwise doldrum wasteland.
