Gravity Falls is truly an iconic and amazing TV show. The very first episode of the show was unique and funny, and it only got better as the show went along. The characters were great and went through plenty of development, it was funny, it was appropriate for all ages, and it had plenty of adventure and mystery. The only thing I did not like about the show was that it ONLY LASTED TWO SEASONS!
What I loved about the show was the perfect mixture of exploring the supernaturalness in the town of Gravity Falls and the naturalness of the Pines family. While the episodes mainly revolve around Dipper and Mabel solving mysteries and saving the town from monsters, each episode always features Dipper, Mabel, and Grunkle Stan developing as a family and shows how much they truly care about each other.
The characters in the show were FANTASTIC. Wendy was super cool, and her and Dipper were great friends. Soos was a super likable, loyal, and funny character. Grunkle Stan, although always overshadowed by his genius brother, made it his life's work to free his brother from the dimension he was trapped in, and it his clear that he cares about Dipper, Mabel, Soos, and Wendy. Mabel was an adorable character who brought a smile to my face with practically every line she spoke. Dipper Pines may perhaps be my favorite animated TV show character ever. He was just a regular kid, but yet he was able to solve complex mysteries with the help of his journal, he saved the world from an evil triangle and other monsters, he placed himself in harms way to protect his friends, and he gave up his dream job and a chance to date Wendy just to make Mabel happy. He does all of this and yet he is just a 12 year old kid trying to find himself in a difficult time of growing up.
Gravity falls also explores many revenant themes, such as the importance of family, forgiving past mistakes, and the necessity of letting go of the past and embracing the future. All in all, Gravity Falls was an incredible show. Whether you like mystery, adventure, comedy, or unicorns and rainbows, Gravity Falls is the show for you.

I know I'm like a million years late I'm reviewing this cartoon. But I have to say that, Gravity Falls was one of the best cartoons I had the pleasure of viewing. The soundtrack is one of the best, not just compared to other cartoons, but to some live action blockbusters. The art style is very well done. But what really makes this series stand out is its plot and endearing characters. There were a few problems to this however. One of the main protagonists: Mabel Pines had little to no character development during the series, even though she was my favorite character she did not develop during the series. Even though I loved almost all the episodes in the series. I found one that was considerably mediocre, that episode is "Dipper vs Manliness" it was not as well done as most of the other episodes. In conclusion, I loved this series.

I had heard about this series for years, but I didn't watch it until January 2018, and even though there are a few episodes that are just ok... this is overall one of my favourite shows ever.
I just love all the characters and the way it parodies so many things while also being like those things. I'm so sad that I already knew most of the twists going in, but watching them unfold was still amazing. Even the side characters that only get a few minutes of screen time are so memorable. And the show is sooooo funny, but it also balances it out with some good drama and occasional dark themes. If you haven't seen this and don't know anything about it, you must watch it and avoid spoilers at all costs. And even if you know what happens... please watch it.

Gravity Falls in a wonderful ride on which you will laugh, reminisce your childhood memories and possibly even cry. Based on the family and acquittances of its creator, Alex Hirsch, Gravity Falls introduces an array of unforgettable characters. If you think about it for a second, I am sure you can think of a Dipper, a Mabel and a Grunkle Stan in your own family. What I love about this show, is that the mysteries never end. Just when you think you have found a break-through the next mystery presents itself. The funny thing is, the show itself has a lot of puzzles for the fans to solve. A die-hard fan of the show can track this puzzles and never get tired. To give you an example, there are subtle hints to the identity of the Author in form of hidden letters in the background and various objects in flashbacks. It's really amusing to try and find these. (I would recommend you to watch "Behind the Pines" before you watch the last 40-minute episode of the show.)This is a must watch TV show. There are some scary scenes, but nothing a 13-year-old boy cannot handle. Have fun solving the mysteries of Gravity Falls.
