vrabieanda Easy to watch whilst multitasking around the house. However, Blake Lively must be the WORST actress of all times. She is just as bad in other movies too!! This show would have been much better without her in it. She just doesn't show absolutely no expression
daughterof_forest88 We all think money is happiness, but it is not. This show shows that, the truth. Children who have everything and yet, they are unhappy.Blair is mean, Chuck drinks and has sex with all women, Serena does drugs, Serena's brother did a suicide.Rich children have money , but they haven't something important: love from parents. Dan was poor but he was happier. He had a father who adored him. Jenny was stupid. She thought this world would make her happy. But she became a monster.I am lucky i wasn't born rich and i had love. Not my dad's (he is a monster), but my mother's.Serena's mother cares about what people think.Never loved her.Poor kids....No parents, no real friends.Pity that this show ended so abruptly.I guess rich people want us to believe lies.....9/10 is a must .....also very good performances
evgenia-15652 The Tv - drama about American's teenagers, based on books, written by Cecily von Ziegesar, tells us about life of a group of friends, called "Manhattan's elite", ones with rich parents. They go to the best private school, buy best branded things, they are famous, living their luxurious lives, with bright futures, etc. Everybody wants to be like them, but not each can. So, as happens with two main characters, involved in this story - Jenny Humphrey and Dan Humphrey, who are trying though somehow to touch this elite society. But, this life isn't as easy, as it may seem to be, because their lives are full of intrigues and all their moves are published on a website, called "Gossip Girl" and nobody knows who is the author, despite the fact that everybody is trying to figure him out. Despite their wealth, they are teenagers too, who have the same problems. How to save friendship? How not to lose yourself? How to not to spoil your reputation in front of the eyes of all New Yorkers? And how to not forget to find and save the real love in all this. This is what this serial is about and a nice addition to this is following love story of one of the most beautiful series couples ever - Blair Waldorf and Chuck Bass, don't forget to add a pinch of bitchy humor of the main characters and you get one of the best series of this genre. Enjoy your watching, because you will not be able to tear yourself from the screen until you don't know who the gossip girl is, XOXO
ingridbwinter I knew about "Gossip girl" for half my life when I decided to give it a try in 2018. I can not believe that this plot ever made it to a show, not to mention it got this good a rating. I believe the only reason for that is that no one who rated it 10/10 watched this thing episode after episode, instead one episode a week. In any case, this series is a tastless and hideous joke. No story, no intention, no depth... this show is the worst and poorly written piece of junk I have ever read, seen and thought about. A total waste of time and intellect. This show is an insult to humanity. If there would be a 0 star rating it would get nothing but disgust.
