The first thing you look at are the skirts of the girls. They are shorter than the one of Ally Macbeal. I guess they have too make some scenes a hundred times till they get it, without showing the panties. Sometimes you see, that Katie Sheridan is wearing panties in the same colour as the skirt (for hiding). For example in the first episode of season four you can see the pink panties of Victoria Longley, while she is running down the school floor. The girls are real pretty and good actors. The rest of the crew are also good very good, but they and the simple storyline are not the reason, why people watch this. In the end the Genie in the house is for 12 year old girls and 16 year old boys who like Katie Sheridans wonderful legs.

Holy mackerel! I thought this show was just some more cheap American Sitcom trash directed at lazy kids with nothing better to watch. My wife and I grimaced while we tried to determine whether the accents were fake or not. I literally had to go online to find out where the show was made. Boy were we shocked to find out it was British. There is nothing funny about this show at all! I mean the Genie in the house theme has been done so many times already, why bother? Yikes! Just awful!!! I commented on how our children were just staring at the TV. not laughing at all. I mean there is nothing funny with it whatsoever. What is the story with the father? he acts like such an airhead but he is filling out all this important paper work in the kitchen? Furthermore, I cannot figure out the family dynamics here. I suppose I would know if I saw the original pilot. To tell the truth though, I am glad that I didn't. Why waste our time with this kind of garbage?

Can Nickeloden please cease bothering trying to make British programmes for the channel. Renford Rejects, Laugh Out Loud and now this, all of them are absolutely horrendous. The acting in this programme is extremely poor, the story lines are poor, and for British actors (looked it up) what the hell are the accents really about? Do we really sound like that, heaven forbid.Absolute rubbish. Up against the American programming, it is absolutely embarrassing. Please, Nicelodeon, please stop making a fool out of this nation with such abysmal programming.I don't even get the setting. Is it based in England? Where did the genie come from?

The programme itself is a little odd but will be greatly enjoyed by under 12s. Considering the basis it has been put together special effects are not bad and the scripts are done simply enough to carry this off, particularly considering the audience it is designed for.The episode with "Rascal" was quite funny and is a good example of the entire series.Aside from this Katie Sheridan (Sophie Norton) is absolutely lovely and sparkles on screen. I imagine she will have many dads glued to the TV and I hope to see a lot more of her on other programmes (TV Companies take note).
