I HAVE seen Foofur. I used to watch it a lot when I was a little kid. These are the things I remember: Foofur talked real funny. Funnier than Huckleberry Hound. Also, I'm pretty sure I remember watching this on Cartoon Express. That should say a lot about the cartoon: it wasn't good, because Hanna Barbera cartoons were never good, but you could always watch an overabundance of them every weekend on the same channel, and they were entertaining. Looking back on Foofur, I know it was awful, but that doesn't matter. Back then I was a kid, so back then it was good; the only thing really that makes it so awful is me now being an adult who can look back on it and make a judgment. So, for kids, a great, funny cartoon.

I never saw this air on television(NBC,1986-87) but I picked it out at the video store when I was a kid, and I fell in love with all the characters! Besides Foof I really loved Fencer the Karate Cat he was so hopeless:) I remember along with "Heathcliff" (the orange trouble making cat), "Foofur" was one of my favorite cartoons of the time. People never seem to know what I'm talking about when I mention this 80's cartoon as one of my childhood favorites, so I suppose not many kids were introduced to the series since it only aired for 2 seasons. I know I found this cartoon very entertaining at the time & am definitely interested in getting my hands on this video or a DVD if I could find one. I'd love to sit down with my niece & watch this together! (Also, I want to prove to everyone who doesn't think I know what I'm talking about that this cartoon really existed!)

I have this on DVD but it's dubbed with Hungarian and I don't understand it. It was next to Dune and Weekend at Bernie's when I bought it in a Hungarian supermarket though so it must be big over there where it's called Slapaj.Looks good though and no-one else who'd seen it was reviewing. There's a dog in it called Norris who advertises a product named "nibble nobbles" and there us a cat and a canary and some rats and a whole bunch of dogs and a woman who looks French. In conclusion. This cartoon changed my life. You should all watch it. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll you'll be moved (to another room)Chom

OK, I'll be honest. I saw a preview for this on Samson and Sally when I was VERY little, thus I don't really know what its about. But nobody else seems to have even come to this board, so I'll review it. Foofur appears to be about a dog...a very ugly blue dog. He lives in a house with some equally ugly dogs. They do stuff, and since this was a children's show I assume that "stuff" involved wholesome lessons.Well, that concludes my review of Foofur. Oh yeah, and there was a very cute Chihuahua. I like Chihuahuas. Yep. Terrible show.
