rishubarnwal It is not a 12 Episode Anime, it is that anime which you can watch 12 episodes in one go. I watched all 12 episodes in one day (my weekly off) and believe me it made my that day more than awesome.
phoenix 2 The main advantage of this anime is the story. It's very interesting how it unfolds slowly and how the supernatural factor actually doesn't take up most of it, rather its a trigger for the story to start. The MC and frankly all the characters are nice and very interesting, mainly at the first part of the anime, with the story about the abused girl. The In addition, the mystery was entertaining and kept the thrill high till the very end of the anime. The conclusion, finally, was satisfying enough for this kind of anime. As for the art, it was fine and quite realistic.
jace-rynearson This is an amazing anime. I started watching it, and I was blown away throughout all twelve of the episodes. The story is both incredibly intense and heart warming bittersweet at the same time, and it mixes those two moods PERFECTLY. The pacing is fantastic, it leaves plenty of room for character development and an in-depth story that keeps you watching from beginning to end. The music is fantastic, the opening song was okay, but the ending song was fantastic, and the music throughout was very well done and fit the tone for each of it's scenes beautifully. The animation is really good and detailed. The only downside I can point out is that it begins and ends a little too quickly. I watched the whole series in just one day, and thought there could have been more. There were eight volumes of the manga, but the manga was kind of losing it's charm, so even that might be a plus, but I would KILL for at least a few more episodes of this fantastic show. All in all, it's definitely worth watching, and every minute is amazing. It's inspirational, it's in-depth, it's got great messages, it's got a well-balanced story, It's incredibly intense, and many other reasons to watch. It's quite possibly one of the best shows I've ever watched.
Atrey Doury Mysteries are conflicting inherently. They appeal to a section of viewers leaving the rest fuming. Perhaps this lies in their deep-seated ability to arouse anticipation, emotions and fear that vary with personalities. Erased or Boku dake ga inai machi is not for those intent on character development or mind twisting mystery. It is a series that has twelve episodes of about 22 mts each for a story that has some heft and decent number of characters. Hardly sufficient for patient character build. The mystery is simple enough that any person of reasonable intelligence could guess 'who dun it' early enough. But what sets this show apart is the direction, editing and the atmosphere build - up. Story is unique - at least to me. Not many loose ends are left at the end, and there is a slight twist. And voice overs are solid (I watched raw version). A good mystery for a rainy/snowy weekend. I must commend the director for keeping everything simple and sticking to his storyline. In this series screenplay is the king. Not just dialogues or settings or story but the entire screenplay that weaves them all together. It is every easy to over-complicate mysteries, as most us may have suffered, but herein a good mystery is delivered in a simple non-fussy manner. Nice!
