Only seen the first episode so far, but it is entertaining enough. I thought the premise was well executed, but the ending was not good. Should have gone dark dark for the ending to the first episode. And I don't get how the girl acted when she saw him again. She would have known about the clones, right? She should be freaked out that he was still around, unless she thought he was the real Ben Branson. This episode would have been a great comedic feature length movie. Kind of like a funny version of The Island, but he already knows he's a clone. Again, way too lighthearted of an ending and implausible. This would have been much better as a full-on parody, but I will give it another episode to win me over.

I thought this was a refreshing break from the current trend for everything being super "dark" and "edgy". No this isn't Black Mirror, but it does share some of it's tone from the lighter Twilight Zone episodes. So, if you insist on dark tone, this wont be for you. But if a bit basic Sci Fi anthology sounds interesting, you will likely enjoy this show.

The show is OK. Most episodes - except one standout - fall between uninspired and passable. It's packaged in a Twilight zone format (even has a narrator) and it tricks you into thinking you are in for a real interesting story. But then, you realize - it doesn't want to be a genre show; it wants to be a "social commentary" show just like Black Mirror. The one episode that does stand out (and it truly is a wonderful episode) is the only one that embraces its sci-fi roots and plays it straight all the way. It's inventive, it's refreshing and it's FUN. Give me a show like that every week, and I'll always be back for more. Just... lose all the extra baggage. In short, Dimension 404 has potential but is barking up the wrong tree. If it ever stops trying to be "relevant" and finds its own voice (Chrono Teens, unite!) then I expect it to become a real cult hit.

This isn't some kind of reboot or remake of Outer Limits, Black Mirror, or the Twilight zone or whatever else..this is something entirely different. It takes elements from these sci-fi shows and weaves it into something entirely different. It feels similar, but it can't hold a candle to those shows individually..and it's not trying to. It has a large cast of actors and actresses, and weird ass episodes..but it's fantastic. If you like sci-fi shows and want a new story every episode, this might be the show for you. It's almost like a B-Movie or a B-TV show if you think the acting is terrible (I think it's pretty good..but if you're a stickler (insert Rick and Morty reference)..that's on you) It's probably not for you. With this latest episode (Bob) I cried like a baby. The story they tell every episode is fantastical and I've been waiting for a show like this for a long time since Misfits ended. To be fair to the user critics, episode 3:Chronos wasn't OMFG over the top amazing..but it had emotion to it and it resonates. Don't let negative reviews detract you from this show, try it out..see how it fits. This is only the first season, think about shows you love and how crappy their first season was. (South Park? Anyone?)Give this show a fighting chance.
