mscott-43301 I grew up in Detroit and was searching the guide and saw the name. I am not a car gal but I fell in love with this show. I appreciate how they show how they do things and learn something new each episode. I also like when they go out on the road and know the places where they go. I like seeing the positive side of Detroit. It was a great city once and then it went to seed, nice to see it coming back. I like the show because there is no drama or bad language among all the guys. Also a positive relationship between Adam and Pam. Thanks Mob Steel and Detroit Steel Guys for a great show.
Donna R I was sitting in the living room reading a book while my husband was watching the 1st episode of Detroit Steel. It caught my attention, I put the book down and watched the rest of the episode. I've been following the show ever since. I really enjoy the comradery of the guys in the shop. The lack of foul language is refreshing. The relationship between the owners, Adam & Pam is entertaining. I like the fact that it caters to the average guy. Detroit Steel isn't building cars that cost $100,000.00 plus...something out of our league. And according to my husband the crew does a great job on these vehicles. I also appreciate the history behind the cars and the city of Detroit that they incorporate into each episode.
emma-04545 Nice to see a show that gives us what we want to see: full builds with a dose of history. The Mobsteel guys seem very genuine and talented, and get things done without unrealistic deadlines. I like learning more about the history of Detroit in each episode too. Keeps things very fresh. Especially enjoy seeing the passion Adam and his crew have for their city. They seem to really care about bringing prosperity back to it. Their all American made wheel business, Detroit Steel Wheel Co., is very cool too. Like seeing how they incorporate their wheels into each build. I know I can watch this without having to worry about hearing foul language or roll my eyes at impossible deadlines. The Mobsteel crew keeps it real! Love watching the show, entertaining for everyone.
hprofessor I have gotten really tired of American mechanic shows, like Fast n Loud, that have become less about the cars and more about the fighting between staff and cameras following the arrogant self-aggrandizing owners around while they brag about themselves for most of the show. Just a stage for showoffs. Boring. We want to see cars. It's a car show. Is this too hard to understand? And so far Detroit Steel is delivering.I really like this show so far, after two episodes. They are down to earth, extremely good at their jobs, and they show you how people can actually get along and work together. And most importantly, we see cars! I hope it stays this way.
