Sometimes, Dutch TV features something fresh. Years ago, there was Unit 13, a series about a government agency that operated a little above the law in order to stop terrorists and criminals. Now there is Deadline. I saw the first episodes just now, and am quite impressed by the acting, the camera work, the scenario and more importantly the realistic approach. It does not get cheesy like any of the CSI series, but does feature a fast pace and decent action.Hopefully the series will continue along this road for the episodes to come. Besides that, it's good to see Derek de Lint has participated in a Dutch production again. 8 out of 10
